Google’s 200 Ranking Factors: The Complete List

If you like SEO or you have a blog that you want to rise to the top positions today’s post is one of those that you can not miss. In it, we will try to develop a reference article when evaluating the different factors of the Google algorithm and its impact on the broad SEO world. This entry is based on the infographic of Search Engine Journal Google’s 200 ranking factors and Brian Dean’s post with the full description of the factors.

Let’s talk about the 200 elements that the king engine takes into account to determine which pages deserve to be on the crest of the wave and which are doomed to remain forgotten, in the deepest and darkest corners of the vast ocean of the internet.

1. Domain Age:

The age of the domain is a factor that is taken into account by Google when evaluating the strength of a Web, but attention is not an extremely important factor. In the words of Matt Cutts himself, this is taken into account but not significantly: “The difference between a domain that is six months old verses one-year-old is not that big at all.”

2. Keywords in the Domain Name:

That the domain contains the keyword (s) continues to be one of the most relevant factors when it comes to enhancing the positioning of that keyword (keyword in English).

Although Google says that it is not what it was, it is becoming more evident (among other things we have the example of Alex Navarro’s blog, Regalosoriginales24) that, with a mix of keywords and Linkbuilding, the domains with keywords Exactly have a necessary strength in the rankings of the Google SERPs. It is not clear that this is true for a lifetime, but, at least to this day, it is like that.

3. The keyword as the First Element of the Domain:

In this case, we start to spin a little thinner within the domains. This factor alludes to that, according to MOZ data audited in 2011, they have the greater preference when positioning pages that start with the keyword in the domain than others that include the keyword in the middle or end. Thus, for example, following the previous example, it is better for SEO the domain: Original Gifts24 than for example 24 Original Gifts. This point I also consider that it influences the URL of the individual post.

4. The Duration of the Domain Registration Time:

Apparently (and this is something that although I suspected was not clear until today’s post)Google patent brings greater relevance/confidence to the domains that have been registered for more than a year. Since according to them, “the pages that are used to make spam and other questionable practices are rarely recorded for more than a year, so the registration time is a metric that we take into account.”

5. Keyword in Subdomain:

Once again the keywords continue to give war wherever they go. The subdomains of a page that start with the keyword will have many more options to position that word in the search engines. For example, if we have the page: Condos would be the central domain and for example the subdomain (in case it had been so configured).

6. Domain History:

If you acquire a domain that has been very “volatile,” that is, that has developed hands invariably, you can tell Google to disown previous links that negatively affect the positioning (using tools such as Disavow), but this may be taken into account long-term by the search engine. The safest (although not always the best) is to start a new domain.

7. Exact Match Domain:

We can define them as the domain names with the exact keywords or keywords within it. The explanation that Google gives us is that if your site is of quality “it still helps something, but if on the contrary, it is not quality it is very likely that in the future you will have problems with this page.” The reality: they do not help something, they help a lot in the Seo positioning of a specific key. Even having sites of a reasonably mediocre quality bring tremendous strength to the keywords that are inside. The question is when? (I just in case this year I have registered a few EMDs).

8. Public vs. Private WhoIs:

Google likes that your WhoIs is public and that anyone can access your data as a domain registrar if necessary since it understands that the people who set up their WhoIs to be private and do not show data is because they have something to hide. Hmm, spammers or just discreet people?

9. WhoIs of Person Who has Spammed:

At that point, Google explains that if in the past has been detected a person whose pages or websites have been penalized by the spammer and you can track your WhoIs in the future the sites you register again in your name will be in the spotlight and they will be reviewed. If you notice, at this point Google seems to be that it is not put on such a hard paper and only states that the sites will be examined, not that they will be considered spam by default.

10. Domain Extension for the Country:

The extension account. If you want to position a blog for Bangladesh, the best thing is that you register a domain “.bd” in the same way if for example, you want to sell products in Brazil you should have a name of the type “” and so on.

And it has a certain sense because, in general, the contents in a site marked with “national” domain are probably somewhat closer to the context of that country than similar contents in a more global site (.com).

11. Keyword in the Title Tag:

The keyword in the page title is considered one of the most important factors on the page in terms of SEO in addition to the content of the page itself. It is essential that your websites are adequately titled with the primary keyword for which you want your visits to find you and to analyze this we have tools as simple as useful as Google Adwords Keyword Planner.

12. Title Tag Starts With a Keyword:

Once again we return to the same thing. The title can be just the keyword, or on the contrary, it can be a phrase more of the Long Tail style. If the title tag is of the second type, those pages whose titles begin with a keyword will have a preference. For example, it is easier to position the word “spinach.” If the configuration of my URL is: “spinach-what-are.” That is for example “what-are-the-spinach.”

13. Keyword Inside the “description” Tag:

The keyword within the description is not relevant regarding positioning SEO On Page since the only mission of the story is to show readers in the SERPs that a particular article deals with. However, the optimization of this section is most important, mainly through what are known as calls to action.

14. The keyword Appears in H1 Tag:

One of the points, together with the one of the Title label of greater relevance. Google is not a fortune-teller, and recognizes the main argument of our content first through the Title tag and then uses the H1 of the individual pages to determine the topic dealt with in each of them. Be very careful with the H1 of your articles!

15. Keyword used most Frequently:

Within a text, the importance of keywords is mostly determined by the number of times (in addition to the location) that appears. Repeating a keyword in the text is a sign of notoriety that Google has in mind, but beware! You need to be very careful not to abuse since you could incur keyword stuffing (a technique that was used a lot in the past, where you repeated a keyword to your satisfaction and in bold).

16. The Length of the Texts:

Content with more words under equal conditions has more preference when it comes to positioning since among other things it can cover higher levels of keywords and a more enriched semantics than a short content. On the other hand, the contents with a greater extension (as long as they are worked) are usually regarded as higher quality than a 200-word text, and this affects other factors that in turn subsequently have an indirect impact on the SEO, such as the mentions in social networks.

17. Keyword Density:

Despite what many people think, the density of the keyword in a post is not one of the most relevant factors when positioning a keyword or, at least, that is what Google says.

While it is true that in the past was a parameter with more relevance and still has something of value is not something that you should worry too much. Instead, I would recommend you to look much more at the long tail for which your content is positioned (you can check it with the Google Search Console) and reinforce those phrases in your content.

18. The Strength of Semantic Content:

Semantic content is increasingly one of the points most valued by Google when it comes to being able to deduce the meaning of a post and its main keywords. In this way, if I talk about “Cat” the semantic set should lead without problems to the seeker to know that I mean a pet and not for example to the tool we use to lift the car if we are punctured a wheel. From the time of the Hummingbird, semantics is fashionable.

19. Semantic Keywords in Title and Description:

The use of keywords or contextual keywords and synonymous with each other in fields such as title and description help Google understand the relevance of a keyword and distinguish between two synonyms. Now show you an example to understand it better. Case a / I will use the keywords: cat, breeds, pussycat, kitty, and feline in title and description (especially in description). Case b / I will use the keywords: cat, breeds, species, types, subspecies. In fact, a / we indicate to Google that the strong key is cats and in the case b / that the key is races or breeds of cats.

20. Load Speed of the Page:

Another of the relevant factors that the search engine uses when ranking a Web. The code should be optimized. The shorter the load time, the better it affects our contents regarding positioning and vice versa.

Therefore, make sure of two things: use a good hosting and have your web optimized (using caches, optimized images with non-excessive sizes, etc.).

Those are the sine qua non-conditions for Google to position you well. Nowadays, you can hire good hosting and in N HOST at a very affordable price, even more, if you take advantage of the discount coupons for hosting that you can get on various websites.

21. Duplicate Content on Page:

The duplicate content is a negative factor taken into account by the search engines when it comes to ranking a post. We all have some duplicate content in our blogs in WordPress or Blogger, and a small and logical proportion is harmless. One of the most significant ways to detect it is through Google Webmaster tools or the Grammarly software.

22. Rel = Canonical:

Used properly is an excellent way to prevent duplicate content because through these parameters we can tell Google what the contents you should consider are. My advice on this is that if you do not have advanced knowledge do not worry much about this point. Unless you do weird things, you should not need to.

23. Uploading Speed of the Page via Chrome:

Google is also able to use user data via its browser to obtain a better estimate of the loading time of your page. Good advice to try to reduce loading times is to check it periodically using tools such as GTMetrix, Pingdom or Page Speed from Google itself.

24. Optimization of Images:

Keeping the images of your page optimized is fundamental as a positioning factor. Something that especially is accentuated in the first months of a blog, when many times a large part of the traffic we receive can be caused by the good positioning of a particular image. Writing an alt text and a title is necessary, and you will also help to give clues to the general content of the article.

25. Constant Content Updates:

Since the appearance of Google Caffeine, one of the factors that Google values when determining the importance of a page is the constant updating of content. And especially if there is something that he likes more than the constant creation of new content is the creation of content that in turn responds to new searches and trends in real time. In the style of newspapers, Google likes your page to provide current and recent information to Internet users.

26. Magnitude of Content Update:

According to Google, the amount of text that we modify to the indexed content also counts regarding positioning. That is if I post a post on “how to make money with a blog” tomorrow and within a month. I add 2,500 words to it; this will be a strong signal that will end up forming a piece of content greater than the searcher will have to index from new, which impacts on a normally improved positioning.

27. Historical Update of a Specific Page:

Apparently (and this has called me enough attention for good) Google takes into account the freshness of a page based on the number of updates received and the more, the better. Let’s take an example once again to understand it well. Suppose you have a marketing blog and one of your tabs is a section called something like “online dictionary.” Well if you keep the same terms and the page is invariable for years it will not position much more, however, if you continue to periodically add terms the SEO positioning of that particular page will continue to improve.

28. Predominant keywords:

It is relevant to have the word or keywords among the first 100 words of the text (which could be equivalent to a small paragraph) since in this way we are telling Google that they are relevant to the general understanding of the article.

29. Keywords in H2, H3, and Tags

Another sign of identity relevant to the SEO that we all know. The inclusion of keywords in subtitles such as H2 and some tags (especially using synonyms) is a good indicator for Google about the relevance of this or that keyword. Keep in mind once again that you do not have to go through and that the keyword should not appear in all the H2 either.

30. The Order of the Keywords is Relevant:

The order of the keywords matters. An exact match between the content of a page and the words searched through the search engine makes content more likely to appear in the first results. So for example, if you have an engine blog it is easier to capture more traffic through the “buy car” sequence than the “buy” car, so you will be interested in guiding your content more in the first example.

31. Outbound Link Quality or Quality Links:

In a few words refers to get strong links and quality pages that point to ours. In the post-Penguin era more and more links have become more relevant but good, than a high number of them but mediocre. Try to get a balance between the links you receive and the different parts of your page that point.

32. Outbound Link Quality Theme or Related Quality Links:

Google can discern the meaning and above all the relevance and nature of a topic based on the pages that link or link you. For example, if you have a dinosaur blog and link to cartoon movies, Google will understand that your blog is closer to children’s leisure than to paleontology.

33. Correct Grammar:

The use of correct writing is a good sign for Google and is one of the most rumored patterns that influence SEO positioning. However, in 2011 Matt Cutts gave an ambiguous message about it (How weird? With the transparency that is always from Google!)

34. Syndicated Content:

Another important feature that helps your content to eventually position better is through the syndication of content by using Google+ Google’s social network with which we can verify our authorship over them.

35. Useful Complementary Content:

According to some leaked documents, the so-called useful supplementary content (or in English “helpful supplementary content”) is quite useful when positioning a page. By useful complementary content, you can understand such curious things as a currency converter or an online loan calculator. In particular, I suspect that the so-called Sliders are also a great help to the position since Google somehow understands that we are providing rich content. However, I still have to investigate on this last point.

36. Number of Incoming links Do Follow:

A too high number of incoming links Do Follow large enough to leave the links not follow by almost 0% is harmful to your Web. There must be a balance, where logically the Do Follow is a majority but always in the presence of the No Follow. A simple practice to get non-follow links is to comment on other blogs in your niche.

37. Multimedia Content:

Google loves text, but a great way to enrich the content of a page and make it more position able is to introduce other content formats such as those above video-based multimedia content. Besides, one more advantage of using video is that SERPs have a hole in their upper part that is only reserved for YouTube videos and in many cases, it is empty (!)

38. Number of Internal Links in a single Address:

An internal way of favoring the positioning of a certain content is to make many internal links of our page point to that article in question. In this way, we send signals to Google that this content is more relevant.

39. The Authority of Pages with Internal Links:

This factor is a nuance of the previous one. Not all pages within your blog have the same strength as this depends on other factors such as the times when the articles have been shared on social networks etc. Therefore, an internal link from a post with PA (Page Authority) 1 is not the same as from a post with PA 12. Keep this in mind when configuring your internal link building.

40. Broken Links:

Having a high number of broken links is a signal to Google that your blog has been abandoned since it is sending links to pages that normally have long ceased to exist. For this, it is good to monitor this type of links and remove them as soon as possible.

41. Reading Level:

Apparently (and this is something that was unknown) Google takes into account the level of difficulty of our texts according to the subject matter in question. Actually what it does is an estimate of the level of reading of our page, which very roughly can be subdivided into basic, intermediate and advanced. What he does afterward with this information has not been disclosed, although it is believed that those pages oriented to a basic content that responds to the masses of the population about a certain topic (“writing for dummies”) have an impact on SEO positioning.

42. Affiliate Links:

A few affiliate links will not hurt your page in the Google rankings, however an excessive amount, particularly depending on the shortage of content can be harmful by sending signals to the search engine that you are a page that only wants to earn money and not contribute anything to the internet.

43. HTML errors:

We must be very careful with the HTML errors of our pages, although when using CMS as WordPress it is more difficult to appear.

44. Domain Hosting Authority:

Undoubtedly one of the points that most caught my attention. In equal conditions between two pages, those hosted on the host will have more authority. This example of a tax advice website is that of a page that increased its level of monthly traffic in a good amount after transferring its free hosting to a WordPress quality plan.

45. Page Rank:

Every day is a factor less taken into account since Google updates it with decreasing frequency. However, there is usually a correlation that indicates that the best-positioned sites are usually also the ones with the highest PR. And speaking precisely of this, I take the issue to indicate that one of the conclusions I have drawn from the last update of the PR is that the link building is not a decisive factor when increasing it.

46. The Length of the URL:

A too high Url length can damage the positioning of the keyword contained within it. Something similar to what happens with titles, which should not be as short as a single word (mostly because they do not beat us with too hard competition) should not exceed a certain number of characters.

47. Route of the URL:

A page closer to the home page can get a slight boost of authority. Remember that of all your blog your home page as a general rule is always the strongest since most of the incoming brand links tend to point towards it.

48. Human Editors:

Although it has never been confirmed, Google has patented a system where human editors are allowed to influence the results of SERPs. The next Quality raters?

49. Category of Page:

A well-categorized page gives Google consistent signals about what its content is about, so try to make the categories of your blog correctly exploited and focus the content.

50. WordPress Tags:

The labels of our WordPress panel are a key factor when it comes to marking the relevance of a specific keyword. In the words of Yoast himself.

51. Keyword in URL:

Another key factor when positioning. Even though the EMDs are stronger, in my opinion, a combination of just one keyword in the URL combined with the brand name is the best choice.

52. Chained URL:

It is another of the factors that tell Google about what the topic is about a specific site with the consequent advances in positioning for that niche that this may entail.

53. Quote Reference Pages:

It is useful for your SEO positioning to quote and reference in your articles through outgoing links those sources of authority that are already relevant in the eyes of Google and that are already part of your niche. The ideal is to go a little beyond Wikipedia (the source that by default comes to mind when thinking about an authority page to link to) and find content from our same sector.

55. Lists and Image Galleries:

Apparently, it is important to contribute to the post in addition to the typical text content also other content a little more enriched such as lists (“the 10 bloggers that I like to read”, “101 gifts for Christmas”) and galleries photographs to give greater relevance to the certain content.

56. The importance of a Sitemap.xml:

One of the factors that most influence a quick and better indexing of our content is the inclusion of a Sitemap on our page. In WordPress, we have it very easy and it will be enough to add plugins like Google XML Sitemap. In this way, we will notify the search engine whenever there is new content on our website, and the spiders will be able to track it in a more effective way.

57. Too many Outbound Links:

Having too many outgoing links on your page, for example on sites like the Home Page, is not optimal for the positioning of the page. Outbound links should be used with care since an excessive excess can make your page lose strength in the search engines.

58. Number of Keywords for Which your Page Ranks:

If you have a blog, the normal thing is that over time you get to position yourself for several keywords, so the more keywords you get to rank in the SERPs, the more natural the content of your page will appear, and this is something Google takes into account. In my opinion, this point refers to that for example, the typical blogs oriented only to 1 or at most two keywords with the sole purpose of exploiting a micro niche and monetize it are not well seen by Google.

59. Page Age:

It is a part taken into account, but if in addition to this is agreed with the contribution of constant fresh content Google has it even more in mind. The mixture of both is very powerful regarding positioning: “pages with prolonged age that release fresh content constantly.”

60. Pages: “user-friendly layout.”

The literal transcription of English would be: “User-friendly design pages.” With this Google refers to the pages with a clean and user-oriented design.

61. Parked Domains:

A factor that Google introduced in a 2011 update is that it reduces the clarity of parked domains whose pages do not have any movement.

62. Value Content and Unique Ideas:

Google has come to declare that it is on the hunt for those websites that do not provide anything new or valuable to users, especially in the case of affiliate pages.

63. Put a “Contact” page on your blog now!

Google takes into account in a positive way those Websites that have a contact page. And besides this, a curious fact is that he sees even better eyes those pages in which the contact data coincide with the WhoIs data. There is nothing.

64. Trusted Domains:

The number of back links pointing to your main domain (i.e., your Home page). The more relevance your domain (DA) will take and this is something that is well seen in Google’s eyes. Although be careful not to go too far as there are too many links just pointing to the Home page can be penalized by Penguin.

65. Website Architecture:

A page well organized regarding its structure is something valued by Google. Once again at this point through CMS like WordPress or Blogger itself, this task is easy for us. Perhaps it is a factor that goes something more directed to those people who build with a code the totality of their Webs from 0.

66. Update Frequency:

One of the most relevant factors. The constant updating of content is extremely useful for Google to see our site as a Web “alive”.

67. The Number of Pages on your Website:

The number of pages on your website is a factor of slight relevance, but that is taken into account by Google. With pages, we refer to the number of different URLs. So for example, if you have a blog with 12 articles and a Home page your blog will have a total of 13 pages. It is also a useful metric taken into account by Google to try to discern between affiliate pages that do not add value and are also small.

68. Network of Internal Links in the Structure Pages:

It is important for the Seo of your site that the pages that configure the central structure of your Web are linked internally to each other. For example, between the Home page and the “about me” page. And between the “on me” and the “work with me.” You need a related structure, both links, and content.

69. Activity time “on”

With this we refer to server crashes, which should be minimal since a prolonged fall in time may even cause some of your results to be indexed. A stable hosting that does not have long-term server crashes can have a positive effect on your SEO positioning.

70. Server Location:

The location of the server can be a factor of slight relevance especially when it comes to displaying content that needs a certain location. We will show an ideal case: your server is located in USA, and your website is facing the search “best restaurants in usa.”

71. SSL Certificates (for E-commerce):

Google has confirmed that it is capable of indexing the SSL certificate that some Webs dedicated to e-commerce can obtain. Therefore it is a factor of quality to take into account when ranking with your online store.

72. Terms of Service and Privacy:

Through these two pages (which should be essential your blog) your page earns points of trust with Google as it understands that they are Webs with nothing to hide and committed to the user and the Internet in general. A relevant factor.

73. Duplicate content “on site”:

The duplicity of content on pages such as the author page is very common, it is best to put them in an index to avoid it, however, be careful, it is not convenient to use the attribute not index with too much generosity.

74. Clear Navigation Path:

Google takes into account in a positive way those Websites that have a clear URL structure that shows at all times the visit where you are.

75. 100% Responsive Design:

Google values more the pages with a responsive design, that is to say, that adapt perfectly to the visualizations from mobile phones than those that do not have it. There are currently plugins that serve to adapt your page to this type of design, but particularly I am still a little reluctant to use them since it has been heard about cases of sites that have generated duplicate content as a result of this.

76. Youtube:

The use of YouTube videos on your page is a factor that is well seen by Google since it is the owner on the one hand and therefore allocates an area of search results to videos hosted on YouTube.

78. Experience Negative Navigation and Bounces:

A bad page usability will affect your rankings negatively since Google will take into account that higher bounce rate and understand that your site does not like people at the time you land on it.

79. Use Analytics and Webmaster Tool:

Many believe that the use of Google’s programs are a factor taken into account when it comes to achieving the better ranking of a page. However, at this point, there is still controversy about it.

80. Comments on a Page:

It is a factor of relevance, or at least that is believed. The more comments and diversity of IPs in an article, the greater the odds it should be when it comes to ranking.

81. Links from Pages with Antiquity:

It contributes (normally) more strength regarding the link of a page with a long lifetime than a new or relatively new one.

82. The Number of Domains that point to your Web:

It is one of the most decisive factors, and that is more taken into account by Google. (The first that I speak of this were the guys from MOZ), for Google is very relevant regarding positioning that is several (the more, the better) the domain names that point to your page. In this way, it is much better to receive ten links of 10 domains than 5 and 5 of only 2.

83. Links from different IPs:

This suggests Google a wider range of sites that consider your content relevant. Be careful not to try to manipulate the comments, since they are easily traceable by Google through the IP. (To all this, it comes to mind now: another of the practices that have begun to penalize Google is to leave comments with the keyword in the links in bulk, so be very careful with spam through the comments).

84. Links from an X Number of Pages in the same Domain:

This is quite obvious and comes to mean that a relevant factor is that the same Web link through more than one page to yours. For example, tomorrow guerrilla Marketing links to my blog, and next week I will link again from another post (therefore from another page) because this second link will continue to add value.

85. Links from images with “Alt” text:

It is relevant to receive from time to time a link from an image with the keyword in the Alt text. This will add additional authority for both the backlinks and the richness of links involved.

86. Links from .Edu or .Gov Domains:

Inbound links from domains with the .edo or .gov extension tend to be more relevant at equal conditions than other types of links. Getting them, in general, is something quite positive for our page.

87. The Page Rank of the Page Link:

According to the experts, the PR of the linker page is a very relevant factor when it comes to putting a link since link juice is transmitted.

88. Authority of Linking Page:

Not only factors such as the PR but also the PA (Page Authority) and DA (Domain Authority) when evaluating a link is taken into account.

89. Links to Competing Pages:

Receiving a link from a page that competes with a certain number of keywords in common is something very much taken into account by Google when it comes to positively rating a page. My advice is to study your incoming links through tools such as Open Site Explorer and then try to replicate those that are possible.

90. Number of Times a Page is Shared:

The “Social Shares” when they occur on a page massively and this page has outbound links, these links gain more value and strength. Therefore, Google takes into account that you receive links from sites whose content has previously been widely shared by social networks.

91. Low-quality Negative Links:

Google takes into account the negative links from spam pages and in general with low-quality content so try to bypass them at all costs and if at any time you detect that you are receiving tries to get in touch with the webmaster in question. In the worst case, you always have tools like Disavow Tools.

92. Beware of the Guest Post:

Google can detect guest author articles following a series of patterns based on analyzing the backlinks. Let’s explain it better: apparently, if you make a guest post and the link they put to your page is placed in the final part of the article in the “biography” section, this link does not have as much force as a “standard” contextual link.

93. Links to Homepage Domain that Page Sits On:

The links that come from the Home Page as a general rule are backlinks with greater strength since this is the area of the Web that receives the most links normally and therefore is the one that is usually the most inflated of Page Authority.

94. Links Do not Follow:

One of the most controversial points in SEO issues. The famous links No Follow. In this section, it is best to try to get both types of links (and to be possible that they are No Follow of authority). Since this, in the end, forms a pattern of links much more natural than if they were only Do follow. The textual words of Google regarding this type of links is: “in general, we do not follow them” that is, “in general, we do not follow them.”

95. Link Pattern Varied:

Richness in the different types of links suggests Google naturally and therefore will tend to rank our page with greater force. On the contrary, if the vast majority of our links come from a single source this can be considered as spam in the eyes of the search engine.

96. Contextual Links:

The links that have the most strength are those that are within a semantic content and with a powerful contextual wrapper. In this way, if I want to position my post of the “American Bully dog” it will be best to receive the link from a page that is completely dedicated to talking about that particular breed of dog that of a blog of all kinds of animals.

97. Sponsored Links:

Apparently, the pages with the words “sponsored links” in the anchor text of some of their links make those links may lose strength or be considered as “suspicious”.

98. Excessive redirects 301:

The links that come from redirection 301 loose strength. Receiving too many of these is not a good thing for your SEO.

99. Anchor Text of the Link:

After the last updates of the algorithm the anchor text of the links has lost some force, however, it is still a pattern taken into account when ranking a page. Therefore it uses the anchor text with a head.

100. Anchor Text of Internal Links:

It is another important factor when deciding to rank an article in the first positions. The anchor text of internal links is less dangerous than the links that come from outside. A good practice SEO consists of inserting internal links (pointing to the post we want to position) of an exact keyword within a post and then doing Tier 2 with this second post, in this way we will inflate it with force and those internal links will have even more value in SEO terms.

101. The Title of the Link:

This factor has caught my attention. Apparently, the title that we put on a link and that is later seen when we put the mouse over the link is a small sign of relevance SEO for Google. So you know, from now on do not leave any link without “rename”.

102. Links from a Specific Country:

Getting links from a specific country helps to prioritize a content for that country that in others. The case of this, for example recently on my blog I wrote an article “hanger” on ten karate tips applicable to blogging. The intention was to receive a link to that post from a German karate page with a very powerful PR. In that case, that link would have helped me to better position that post for Germany than any other normal article on my blog.

103. Location of the Link Content:

The links placed at the beginning of the content in a text have slightly more force than a link placed at the end of it. And “quite” more force than the links placed in our author’s bio (for example in a guest post).

104. Location of the Link in Pages:

Links surrounded by text are stronger than links on pages where a text is not abundant, such as sidebars or footers.

105. Link from Related Domain:

Here we go to the nature of the domain. A link is much stronger from a page of the same niche than from a different one. Realize that at all times we are talking about domain issues, therefore the articles “Hangman” that we can use also have less strength than a link from a domain of a similar nature to ours.

106. “Link sentiment” or links to “positive feeling”:

Something rather curious is that Google probably takes into account the context of the words surrounding a link and values it in reference also to these. In this way, if for example I put a link to an engine blog saying: “this blog really is a scam, not only invent the names of the cars but above copy content + link” is very different from if I say: “If you are interested in the new Ford Focus to visit this fantastic blog on the engine + link”. There is nothing.

107. Keyword in Title:

It alludes to the keyword that we can put in the title of the link. Also, if it matches the brand name of a website, it may have a small extra relevance.

108. Increasing Link Speed:

A page that begins to receive more and more links (with caution) natural and above all, in a sustained way gives Google important signals of visibility and in return receives a powerful bonus ranking rankings.

109. Declining Link Speed:

Similarly, a page that goes back in the rate of obtaining links concerning its history sends Google signals that its popularity is decreasing and this ends up being noticed in the rankings.

110. Links from “Hub” Pages:

The links from pages with a greater accumulation of resources (I understand that this refers to incoming links and other signs of force) are much more powerful.

111. Links from Global Authority Sites:

The links received from sites with strength and that are also based on several themes, but with exponential traffic and positioning values are very well seen by Google and may even have more force than decent micro niche sites. A perfect example could be digital newspapers.

112. Links No Follow from Wikipedia:

It is a popular belief of the most widespread that links from sites such as Wikipedia despite being No Follow transmit authority to the linked sites. Without a doubt, it is the best Enace No Follow that you could never get.

113. “Co-occurrences”

The words around a link help Google determine the subject and its accuracy. In such a way that they can be considered another factor of relevance. The future will go through contextual links.

114. Age of Backlinks:

According to Google, older links convey more strength or authority than new links, just put.

115. Real Links VS Links “splogs”:

Given the growing proliferation of blog networks in recent years, Google increasingly tries to distinguish between links from pages with branding, branding and natural actions to those blogs that are only activated from time to time to introduce a link.

116. Natural Link Profile:

A page with a natural profile of links will always be much more likely to rank stronger than another with an unnatural pattern. Unnatural could be excess links from blogrolls, footers, only to the Home Page, with the same anchor and keyword, natural growth or decrease, etc.

117. Reciprocal Exchange of Links:

An excessive exchange of links between different Web pages is a bad sign to Google because Google wants them to be produced in the most natural way possible and not by cronyism or exchanges. If you abuse this, your SEO will be harmed.

118. Links Generated by Users:

Google tries to be able to distinguish between the links that we generate naturally and those unnatural placed in articles “hanger” so be careful with that type of links.

119. Links from Redirects 301:

Links from 301 redirects have slightly less force than direct links. The shorter the link route, the more force it can conserve.

120. Microformats:

Pages that are capable of supporting microdata and use them in such a way that they appear in SERPs are more likely to rank more strongly than those pages that do not.

121. List of pages in Dmoz:

This is not 100% corroborated, but many people believe that Google gives an extra point of confidence to the pages listed in the Dmoz directory. In Condos we have had the opportunity to get this type of links through different forum members.

122. List of pages on Yahoo!:

In the same way, it is believed that Google could grant greater relevance to the pages contained in directories such as Yahoo! More importantly, we refer to a small bonus treatment in addition to the link that the directory transmits to the site in question.

123. Number of Outbound Links on Page:

Page Rank is not something infinite. Some outbound links that are too high from the same page can cause less strength buildup.

124. Forum Profile Links:

Because in the past this type of links has been one of the biggest causes of spam, Google has devalued its energy enough. Although to be fair I have to tell you that there is still a good number of pages with Do-Follow links in the profiles of the forums that are perfectly usable.

125. Word Count of Linking Content:

A link from a 1,000-word post has more strength than another from an article that counts with only 200 words since the power of semantics and indexing in the first case is probably much higher.

126. Links from Qualified Content:

Links from poor content, with little text and with a limited semantic variety transmit much less force than links from pages with well-written texts and multimedia content. A significant factor to consider.

127. Compression of Repeated Links:

Articles that include several links to the same page to increase their positioning lose time. Google only takes into account the first link, according to statements by Matt Cutts himself.

128. Greater CTR for a Key in the Search Results:

The pages that are clicked a greater number of times in the SERPS for specific content are more likely to elevate their SEO positioning for the main keyword of that particular content.

129. Greater CTR Per Global Pages:

The higher the global CTR of the page regarding the articles, Google could favor the positioning of the same in the SERPs compared to others with a lower CTR.

130. Bounce Rate:

At this point, not all SEOs agree, but as a general rule, there is a tendency to think that a higher bounce rate will cause a page to send signals to Google that it does not have much interest for the user. Therefore, it can negatively affect your SEO. This can be related to a post I wrote in Condos blog about how to increase the ratio of page views on your blog efficiently.

131. Direct Traffic Benefits Your SEO:

According to Google statements (as we have already said) they use some data from their Chrome browser to take into account parameters such as “what kind of sites people visit and how often.” An important metric is a direct traffic. A more direct traffic greater relevance at the time of ranking will have a page.

132. Repeated Traffic or Recurring Traffic:

According to Google statements (as we have already said) they use some data from their Chrome browser to take into account parameters such as “what kind of sites people visit and how often.” An important metric is a direct traffic. A more direct traffic greater relevance at the time of ranking will have a page.

133. Large Pages:

The size of your website, in general, is a factor of weight (and never better said) when it comes to ranking your content. Apparently, if your website is large, it is much less likely that it is a Web spam or affiliate based on just one landing.

134. Chrome Bookmarks:

Or Chrome text markers. The pages included in them, in theory, have an additional point of confidence for Google.

135. Google Toolbar Data:

Apparently using the Google toolbar is a positive signal when it comes to ranking. In particular, I distrust this point in question.

136. Number of Comments:

As we have said, Google likes live pages full of dynamic content. One of the symptoms of better health of a page or a blog is the number of comments it receives. One of the factors that will help position your Web page.

137. Time on Page:

One of the factors considered as “relevant” by most of the SEO community. The time spent on a user on your page tells Google that you are interested in the content of the page. On the other hand, it is one of the most difficult ratios to increase, since, in theory, it is directly proportional to the quality or interest generated by our contents.

138. Queries Deserve Freshness:

Google is increasingly giving an SEO positioning bonus to those new pages that deal with a content that for a long time has not been finding different results in the SERPS. In my opinion, one of the most interesting factors, since it is an incentive (at least for me) to launch ourselves to explore semi-abandoned microniches regarding information renewal and thus capture good amounts of traffic currently unattended.

139. Consultations Deserve Diversity:

It is very much in line with the previous one. SERPS appreciates the diversity of information based on groups of new keywords.

140. User Browsing History:

One of the patterns that Google takes into account when it comes to showing you search results is the history of the pages you have accessed. (Thanks to this the SERPs usually appear distorted) Therefore, the more times you appear in the results of “distorted” searches of the best people for your SEO positioning.

141. User’s Search History:

Again, it is also closely related to the previous point. The searches you make later are used by Google to show results based on this type of information. That way if you usually look for information on, for example, marketing courses it is likely that the Condos page is a little more prone to appear that if you have never searched for anything about marketing.

142. Geo-targeting:

Google gives preference to pages whose IP is geolocated in a place relatively close to the user. Similarly, the domains with the host in a particular country also happen the same.

143. Safe Search:

Google tries to reduce relevance to this type of results. The same goes for the Google suggestion box, which never shows as a suggestion pages with adult content or hurtful words.

144. Google Circles as a Relevant Factor:

This factor has also caught my attention. Google gives greater relevance in the SERPS to those pages whose people have added in your Google+ circles. Therefore, a good practice is to try to be included in as many circles as possible.

145. “DMCA Complaints”:

With this, Google refers to pages from which you have received complaints, such as spam reports. In which case it will rank them worse in the search results.

146. Diversity of Domains:

According to Google, one of its past updates came to add a greater number of domains in each SERPs page.

147. Transactional Searches:

Google shows different results if it notices that the type of information that we are looking for is referring to making a purchase or going in search of a service. This factor should be taken into account if we are administrators of an online store (to optimize the pages for the right keywords) and it is not advisable to lose sight of Google Places.

148. Local Searches:

Your results will be more prone to appreciate if people’s searches are local and directly refer to the location of your business.

149. Google News Box:

Certain keywords activate a Google news box.

150. Preference to Brands:

After past algorithm changes such as Google Vince, the search engine has given greater relevance in the SERPS to the brand names of the companies for a certain type of short searches. In this way, if you enter the word Apple, the computer company will appear instead of the apple in the first position.

151. Commercial Results:

Google can show purchase results in the SERPs.

152. Images in the Results:

One of the factors that can bring traffic to your Website are the images well positioned in the search engines. Personally, I must add that interestingly positioning in Google Images is infinitely easier than doing it through organic content. On one occasion one of my technology blogs with just a few weeks of life ranked fourth for the word “Samsung Galaxy Ace” but that if, in Pictures. In spite of this, the traffic that arrives since then is constant and the majority concerning this image. Remember, always alt text, title and if possible surrounded by contextual words.

153. Preference for Brand Keywords in Trademarks:

It seems that within keywords in general, for example, you can have a page like N HOST, brand keywords have the preference to the position concerning the rest of your indexed keywords. In this way, it would be relatively easy to find the website of this company if we search in Google keywords separated as “court” or “English.” Something that in a normal Web does not usually happen in the same way.

154. Number of Tweets:

One of the social signals that the search engine takes into account (or so they say) when it comes to positioning. Regarding other social networks, Twitter is probably the least impact on the Seo. However, the latter once again is something that I would personally verify.

155. Influence of the Twitter Profile:

At this point, I am a bit reticent. A part of the community Seo believes that the influence of the person behind the Twitter account (such as the number of followers, the age of the account, etc.) are relevant factors when positioning a specific content.

156. Number of Likes on Facebook:

The number of Me Gustas on Facebook is one of the values that Google takes into account when determining the interest that a certain content has aroused among the public. Keep in mind that Facebook works much better for a certain type of topic than others. Things like “humor” and associated funny images are much more conducive to being shared on this social network. To be able to measure your Facebook accounts, I recommend you to use Metricool’s social media measurement tool with very reliable data.

157. Facebook Shares:

The number of times your publication is shared on Facebook may have more relevance than the simple ones I like.

158. Authority of the Facebook Account:

At this point, we find a definition similar to the profile of the Twitter account. In theory, the more authority has a Facebook profile, in particular, the more power to enhance our positioning will be able to exercise on content. In this way, the “Like” influential and famous people should be of great relevance.

159. The Pins on Pinterest:

Google considers them as a social signal that content is attractive to the user. Once again we find a social network where what predominates is the image and the photos “with a predisposition to become viral” usually sweep.

160. Votes on Social Platforms:

According to a large number of SEO Google takes into account the diffusion that content has on different platforms and social aggregators, such as Digg in the US.

161. Number of +1 in Google Plus:

One of the factors assumed as more determining when positioning a particular page.

162. Google+ Account Authority:

Once again we return to the same thing, the authority of the Google+ account of the person in question is something relevant. It is not the same a +1 of a profile with 20 followers that of one with 5,000.

163. Author Verification through Google Plus:

Content verified by an author is more likely to hit search results more strongly. On the other hand, it is good to focus on a specific issue when verifying our content with the Rel-Author label. In this way, Google will understand that we are experts in this matter.

164. Relevant Social Signals:

A set of social signals is more potent than having only mentions in a single social network. Something quite evident, however, I would try to focus my strategy on a limited number of social networks to focus the effort.

165. Social signals by Slight:

The social signals by levels refer to a site whose totality or almost all of its pages are shared by social networks. That is, it refers to the global level of Web or the percentage of the Web with a good number of Shares. (I’ll start sharing my envelope page but now!)

166. Brand Name in the Anchor Text:

Include the brand name in the anchor text of the link is a simple, but powerful, signal to Google when it comes to enhancing the ranking of the brand in question.

167. Brand Searches:

It is simple; Google assesses whether a brand is used in the search engine from the search box (although also, as we have already said in one of the factors, it values direct traffic).

168. Brands that have a page on Facebook:

Pages with Fan Page and movement within it (number of active fans, mentions, Like, etc.) are slightly more likely to rank strongly in Google results. So, if you do not have Facebook, it’s a recommendable factor, but personally, I have to say that this social network has never convinced me (for personal use). Regarding usability (under my criteria) it’s pretty lousy! (Someone in favor?Hehe).

169. Sites with large number of Followers:

I suppose it does not refer to a direct impact on the SEO but perhaps to an indirect impact. A high number of followers on Twitter is a sign of brand relevance, which finally is always favored in search engines.

170. Company page with LinkedIn Profile:

The relevant business pages in a large number have pages optimized for LinkedIn. Apparently having a page in this professional network is another (slight) signal to Google of site authority.

171. LinkedIn Employees in Your Company:

According to Rand Fishkin, having employees with professional and solvent profiles on LinkedIn and working on your company page is a factor of brand relevance for Google. I imagine that the content must be previously verified by the Rel-Author label.

172. Accounts with Powerful Interaction:

In Social Media accounts for more interaction from their followers have more impact on the SEO of the content they share than those accounts with more followers, but with no interaction.

173. Mentions in Google News:

Google better sees the pages that have been accepted in Google News and pass to the section of the SERPS reserved for this news. Here the idea is to propose your page and cross your fingers to accept it. I must also say that Adsense advertising pages are accepted without any problem since I know people in Condos to which they have been allowed.

174. Co-Citations:

This factor refers to the fact that it is not always necessary to link the Web of a brand so that Google can understand that we are referring to it. He also values this naturalness. That is pages that are mentioned, but not always linked.

175. Number of Subscribers by RSS:

The brands that have a large number of subscribers via RSS are more taken into account by the search engines.

176. Location of the Business:

It is possible according to a certain number of SEO’s that Google uses its search engine to determine the physical geolocation of the company in question and see if it has a real and solvent infrastructure when it comes to diagnosing your company page. In particular, they are quite skeptical about this factor.

177. Penalization of Panda:

Google Panda is a penalizing extension of the algorithm itself that is dedicated to penalize pages with poor content and duplicate content in bad faith. A Web that has never been penalized by Panda over time gains the good reputation in the eyes of Google regarding rankings.

178. Links from Sites with low Authority:

An excessive amount of links from low-quality sites such as link farms and others is unfavorable for your rankings, and even more so if they are links placed in the footer. Avoid them to have a clean page that can rank stronger.

179. Links from Directories:

Google does not like link directories anymore. The main reason is that in a recent past more and more have begun to be used as link farms for the sole purpose of manipulating Seo positioning of the pages. But there is still a few, (very few) quality, like Dmoz.

180. Pop-ups and Excessive Publicity:

According to the guide of quality guidelines for Google Webmasters, sites with a high number of advertisements and Pop-Ups send signals to Google that their content is of lower quality. Keep it in mind for your pages.

181. Over-optimized Pages:

In the same way that a SEO on a page can help the page to rank stronger pages that are over-optimized for a certain number of keywords can be penalized and taken into account when ranking.

182.  Ads Above the fold:

An excess of ads that are in the upper half of the page can send signals to Google of low quality, which will have a subsequent indirect impact on the search results. This is done to avoid an excess of advertising in the so-called “red zones” or heat map, which is where the user has the best chance to click (but also where it is most annoying).

183. Affiliate Sites:

It’s no secret to anyone that Google does not like affiliate pages very much. Many SEO’s and Webmasters, in general, think that the pages that use this means of monetization are subject to a much greater scrutiny on the part of the search engine. My advice is to use them with heads.

184. Hide Affiliate Links:

Going too far when you want to hide your affiliate links, especially if you use them in cloaking sites, is a fairly common penalty factor. Be careful with this.

185. Self-generated Content:

Google is not a fan of the self-generated content but the original content. The sum of something bad about something even worse would be to self-generate content by copying it from third parties via RSS. Google that will soon penalize and from index in the worst case. Unofficial: (Or at least that tells us, I know some Web that only consists of copying contents of another one, and there it is, between the first positions for its EMD).

186. Excess of No Follow Towards the same Content:

If a content receives an excess of links No Follow Google can understand that people do not want to convey authority for a particular reason.

187. IP Addresses Marked as Spam:

If your IP server is marked as Spam, it is very likely that the rankings of all the pages where you are the administrator will be devalued.

188. Meta tag Spamming:

In the same way that doing it with the keyword can be somewhat penalized you have to be very careful not to repeat the same keyword too many times in the meta tags since Google may suspect negatively about it.

189. Massive Influx of hit Links:

A link arrival higher than usual and concentrated in a short period signals to Google that they are links that we are manipulating ourselves. Keep it in mind when it comes to linking your pages. It’s better a few a month than a good handful in a week.

190. Google Penguin Penalty:

Sites under a Google Penguin penalty are significantly less visible in the search results.

191. Profile of Limited Quality Links:

A page with a link profile full of low-quality links may end up being in Google’s point of view and even penalized. For example, in an invented and unreal assumption: if your blog is new and will not get links for five months and you as a Webmaster have a routine of leaving 15 or 20 comments every day on friends blogs (with its corresponding link) no follow) could be counterproductive. Be very careful with that kind of abuse.

192. Link Domain Relevance:

According to a study carried out by the page a site with an excess of high-quality links (yes, you have read well, high quality) but unrelated themes makes Google Penguin suspect that something strange is happening with that page … The most natural thing (even if you have authority links) is that you also link related sites.

193. Warnings of Unnatural Backlinks:

When a site experiences a fall in positions due to a link building theme, it is likely that on some occasions it will be verified to the Webmaster through Webmaster Tools.

194. Links from the Same IP Class:

An excess of links from the same IP page especially when your blog is very small and does not have a well-defined link pattern could make Google think that you are using several blogs as a link farm and this may affect your rankings.

195. Anchor text “toxic”:

If your website is linked many times with words such as “Viagra” and things like Google, you can consider certain spamming behaviors against you. However, if you are careful with your blog, it is not very normal for this to happen.

196. Manual Penalties:

Pages that have been penalized manually despite leaving the penalty may experience greater scrutiny against pages that have always had a clean behavior.

197. Sale of Links:

Google is capable of suspecting those sites that are engaged in link sales and abuse links unrelated topics in the sidebar, footer or things like that. Be careful with buying or selling links.

198. Google Sandbox:

An excessive pattern of links from sites that have historically been used to make Black SEO as forum profiles and excess comments can make Google suspicious, and even more if your site is not a site that has authority.

199. Disavow Tool:

Once you use Disavow Tool, you recognize in Google’s eyes “that you’ve been playing at being SEO,” and many think that although not directly indirectly it is a negative factor for your long-term rankings.

200. Google Dance:

Or the famous fluctuations of the SERPS. According to Google, they are constant to make sure a site is not trying to play with the algorithm. We all suffer constantly, and not long ago I spoke on my blog of an impressive fluctuation in real time of how it affected a link from a marketing blog to an article in a pet blog (of which I am also an administrator).

It has been the list of the debated 200 factors that Google could use when it comes to centrifuging its algorithm with all of our pages inside. The question of the million would be. Now the SEO no longer has secrets. Or maybe?

Free keyword research & Strategy for SEO

Keyword research is one of the most influential, valuable and highly profitable activities in the field of search engine marketing. Through research work to find out the demand for keywords in your market, you not only learn in which words and phrases you will concentrate with SEO, but you also learn more about customers as a whole.

It’s not always about getting visits to your website, but about getting the right visits. The usefulness of this intelligence cannot be emphasized – with keyword research you can predict changes in demand, respond to changes in market conditions, and offer the products, services, and content that users are already actively looking for. In the past of marketing, there has never been a barrier so natural to overcome when it comes to an understanding the motivations of consumers in virtually every niche – it would be almost a crime not to take advantage of it.

Why keyword research is important

I’ll give you some reasons why you should find keywords for your articles, within the content strategy of your blog.

Because although I always defend that you must write for the user and not for Google, we must also communicate with him and the keywords are in his language, and they help us explain what our content is about.

Because they help us to get to know our readers better. That is, knowing the trends and how people search for information, we have clues as to how we should refer to our readers to give them what they want.

Because the keywords help us eliminate assumptions about what we think is interesting. For example, I can think that the theme of the mating of a green African giraffe is going to interest everyone and a research of keywords can tell me if I am right or not.

How to Calculate the Value of a  Keyword

How many keywords worth to your website? If you have an online shoe store, do you generate more sales from visitors looking for “brown shoes” or from visitors looking for “black boots”? The keywords that your visitors type in the search engines are often available to webmasters, and the keyword research tools allow us to find this information. However, these tools can not show us directly how valuable it would be to receive traffic from those hunts. To recognize the value of a keyword we need to understand our web pages, make some assumptions, try and repeat – the classic formula of web marketing.

Ask Yourself

Is the keyword relevant to the content offered by your website? Will users who come to your site find the likely answer to the question (s) they raise? And will that traffic result in economic reward (or other organizational objectives) directly or indirectly? If the answer to all these questions is a resounding “Yes!”, Then continue.

Analyze your Business and set Goals

The first thing you should do is analyze your business, what do you offer? How do you want to be found? What are the most appropriate terms for your sector?

If for example, you have a shoe store some keywords could be:

  • check‘men’s shoes.’
  • check‘buy women’s shoes.’
  • check‘shoe store.’
  • check‘buy men’s shoes online.’

Before starting to develop a list of keywords we must be clear about our objective, do we want to optimize a specific product or several products? Do we also want to reach people who are looking for information about our product?

Define clearly what goals you want to achieve with your keywords and do not optimize several sections or categories of your website at the same time if your resources for SEO campaigns are limited. In this case, my recommendation is to start first with the product that is providing the most income (or the one that you think most can bring you) currently in your business. This way it will be easier to position yourself and boost the part of your business that presently generates more income, you will consolidate your brand in that product and the future, it will be easier to invest in an SEO campaign for other products or services in your store or business. On-Line.

Keep in your mind the following: it is not the same ‘buy women’s sandals’ that ‘buy mountain boots’ even if the store and the sector are the same, the potential customer has different interests.

Create a list of Keywords

Once we have clear what we want to achieve, we can proceed with the keyword research process, and we will have to make a list of keywords.

For this, the most sensible thing is to use external tools, since it will help us to find similar keywords to those we may have in mind. The Google planner is the most popular tool and of course, it’s free. Google’s keyword planner is part of AdWords, and you’ll need a Google AdWords account to use it (it’s also free).

Do not go crazy, do not make an endless list, stay true to your goals previously marked, what do you want to enhance? What kind product or service do you want to optimize with these keywords?

Make a list of maximum 30-35 keywords. Do not worry if in some you have doubts, then we will categorize them, and some will be rejected.

Find new Keywords Relevant to your Product

Let’s use the following keywords as an example in the Google, keyword planner:

  • check‘women’s sandals.’
  • check‘buy women’s sandals.’
  • check‘women’s sandal shop.’
  • check‘buy women’s sandals online’

It will show us several groups of results, but two of them will be of special importance for this case in particular:

  • check‘Sandals Online’
  • check‘Sandals Woman’

As you can see, we have discovered new keywords, and they are still relevant to the service or product that we want to optimize. In addition to simply finding new keywords, this tool also helps us to obtain information about what each click (approximately) of each term would cost us in the event that we would like to carry out an SEM campaign.

We can also see the search volumes of the keywords that interest us, in this case, we get exciting data from the group of keywords ‘Sandals women,’ and we see how searches for these terms are triggered in the summer season, while in the rest of the year the consultations are minimal.

Search for the coveted long-tail keywords

In this Word Stream article, they explain what the long-tail keywords and their advantages are. In short, long-tail keywords are terms composed of 3 to 4 words, or more, (key phrases), much more specific and specific than generic keywords.

To be more specific, the search volume of long-tail keywords is usually lower than the most generic keywords. But if we are starting with our SEO optimization and above all, our marketing budget is limited.

Keep in mind the following: ‘women’s shoes’ is not the same as ‘buying women’s shoes online.’

Categorize your Keywords

Once we have our list of keywords for our goals, we must separate them into categories according to the intent of each keyword.

Let’s say we have about 25-35 terms relevant to the product that we want to promote on our website, but not all have to be terms for direct conversion, what does this mean? Someone may be looking for information about that product, but it is not yet in the ‘purchase desire’ phase.

Let’s say that in our list of keywords we have the following terms:

  • checkbuy sandals for women
  • checkwhere to buy sandals for women
  • checkwhich are the best sandals for women
  • checkFootwear recommended for summer

As you can deduce, not all the terms show an immediate need for purchase; the potential customer may still be looking for information about your product and deciding whether it is interesting or not. That is why we must take into account the intention of each term to be used.

This can help you to get ideas when creating content; you can, for example, write an article or record a video about what are the best sandals for women or what will be the trend for this summer. We must learn to take advantage of the intention of each keyword and supply the current need of the potential client.

Give a Value in Keywords

Not all keywords will have the same value. Depending on the difficulty of the position, to attract potential customers and how relevant it is to your product or service, you will have to grant a lower or higher value:

For this task, the tools mentioned above will help you. Specifically, the new Moz tool, ‘Keyword Explorer’, is quite simple and easy to use.

The value of keywords depends on you, to be able to give a realistic value you must base on the difficulty of positioning in that term, the competition and what that term means regarding objectives.

Let’s make an example of the following keywords:

  • check‘buy boots online.’

Optimize the right page on your website

We are nearing the end of our keyword research; on page optimization.

Once we have our objectives clear, our list of keywords completed and separated into categories according to the intention and value of each term will be the time to decide which page we will optimize on our website.

If we continue with the previous example of ‘women’s sandals’, we must optimize the page of our online store where women’s sandals are found (for example, a category called “Women’s Sandals”)

Some Cool tools for Keyword Research

We are not going to tell you the typical Google keyword tool, Semrush, or anything like that, although they are perfect, we will be a little more original to find our terms.

1. Keyword Finder

Are not you tired of reading longtail stuff, bidding price, low competition? and you do not know anything!

This tool does the work for you, the only thing you need to know is to write.

In your search engine, you enter your keyword, and it gives you all the long tail with the lowest competition so that you can directly use it. Nothing to waste time with Google filtering or anything … straight to the point.

Enter your word, country, and language in which you want to look and ready!

2. Soovle

Another tool genius, because it not only shows you the keyword in Google, which is very good. It also makes an interesting sea crawling by Amazon, Wikipedia, Bing, Yahoo, Youtube.

The negative point of this platform is that it is uglier than hitting a father, but it solves it well for the amount of time it saves you.

3. Udemy

Just as Amazon is an excellent source of inspiration to find ideas for writing, using the published books, Udemy, which is an e-learning platform, is also worth it.

Its use to find ideas is easy: Enter your term in the search engine, for example, and I put “Growth Hacking.” In the results, filter by “most relevant.”

You already know that they are the most popular because they have more reviews and have aroused more interest in the public, so this gives you a clue as to why these titles are hooked and that you can take advantage of to write your posts.

If you want to delve deeper into your search, click on any book and read the description. There you will see the keywords you have used and how you have done it.

4. Ubersuggest

This tool shows you the results of the Google autocomplete option.

You can search the web, images, etc … you just have to enter your term and language, and that’s it.

You can visualize the results in a list (which is more comfortable) or in a cloud of keywords that is the image that I have put, to vary a bit.

5. Webpagefx

This is also very ugly, but very useful. It is a scraping tool, in which you enter your keyword and places where you want to find it. In this example, I have added the term “Growth Hacking” and I have put it on Facebook and Twitter. In addition to finding keywords, I can see groups in these networks that may interest me. If you use it in forums or in pages of your competition or bloggers who write on the same topic as yours, it will give you the list of phrases of how they use them.

6. Spyfu

This is a tool similar to Semrush, which allows you to know a little more about the strategy of any competitor.

You enter any URL that interests you in the search engine and shows you the results of organic keywords that you have positioned, Adwords history (if you have it), incoming links, etc.

That on the one hand, but on the other, you can also use it to do your keyword research.

Among the many data, it provides you with terms related to its associated difficulty, the ads that have most successfully used that word, history, links everything and you take it out of your hands hears!

7. Brainstorming

Brainstorming is the first step to a keyword research. To do so, we must only open a text editor and write all the ideas that come to mind on the subject we are going to investigate. For our example, we can use concepts such as “trips to San Martin de Los Andes” or “tourism to San Martin de Los Andes.” We can also write ideas about the activities offered by the place, such as “camping in San Martín de Los Andes”.

8. Search on Wikipedia

The information that Wikipedia provides us is useful to get ideas on the topic that interests us. For example, we can search near San Martin and Los Andes and find information about tourist attractions, activities that can be developed, weather, among others. With that information, we return to the text editor and complement the initial list.

9. Google Keyword Planner

When we have our list, we will go to the Google Keyword Planner. We can access this tool through Google Adwords or the search engine. Once there, we click on the Tools tab and select the Keyword Planner option. Then, we open the text file where we have our list of ideas, copy them and paste them into the first box. In Keyword Planner we have the option to segment the search according to the language or location. We can also use filters that help determine if a keyword is popular or not, based on an average of monthly searches. For our example, we will leave the boxes free and click on the Get ideas button. Then, we click directly on the Ideas tab for keywords. On this page, we will find the ideas we got from the brainstorming and different columns with information. We can know the average monthly searches of a keyword in Google, in the last 12 months. Other columns such as Competition, Suggested Bid, or Percentage of impressions are targeted to campaigns in AdWords.

If we go down a little, we will find the keywords that Keyword Planner suggests according to their relevance. The data will complement the ideas we had previously. Collecting the information in one place is essential. For this, we click on the Download button and choose the CSV option for Excel. Then, we copy the data from the keywords (common keywords) and average monthly searches of the document and paste it into a new Google Spreadsheet file.

Now we move to This tool allows us to do free searches for keywords in Google, YouTube, Bing and even AppStore. We will continue with our example to perform the primary search. For that, we wrote “San Martín de Los Andes,” we selected the option, and to obtain general results, we change the language to Spanish, and finally we click on search.

The search gave us more than 500 keywords that will complement the list of the Keyword Planner. We only have to copy the results and paste them into the spreadsheet that we created in the previous step.

11. Quora

At it is possible to find keyword ideas for our searches. This tool is quite useful to make a keyword research focused on the market in English since much of its content is in this language. However, we can read each content, translate it into Spanish and extract ideas for our keyword search.

Conclusions and up to the view baby

Often the SEO is very frustrating and all these 20,000 tools that you have to use to locate keywords and also learn what each term means or use them, to be able to get all the juice. Here I have brought you a selection of tools that are very simple and that above you do not need to create or account or anything.

What tools for keyword research (other than typical ones) do you know? Have you ever met at a wedding or event with someone who was wearing your dress? What happened? Tell me 🙂

What is a viral? Why does the content go viral?

Why does the content go viral? Great men and women of history have tried to answer the oldest of the questions. Today N HOST explain it.

Do you know BuzzSumo? They are a company dedicated to analyzing what is successful and what is not in social networks, based on measuring almost everything that is written on the Internet: which articles succeed in a certain topic or niche and which influences are the most recommended for a specific topic. And they do it very well.

They recently published a study on why the content goes viral analyzing more than 100 million articles, and could not pass up the opportunity to move it and solve one of the greatest enigmas of humanity: Why my content does not go viral and the idiot of the competition who has no idea yes? As so many times, science gives us the answer.

What is a viral?

With the ease of the Internet and social networks to disseminate ideas and content, the term viral is used for messages that are massively distributed through social networks and blogs and even through the mass media.

The contents that become viral are usually those that appeal to emotions. They are mostly humorous and are usually never born with the intention that they become viral.

Anonymous users create the majority of contents of this type without intending to be disseminated massively. But to share them with friends or acquaintances who, considering that it is a material that deserves to be shared, disseminate it to their once among their acquaintances, who do the same afterward, until they are shared hundreds of times and become massive.

For brands, getting one of their content to go viral is a success and one of their great objectives when they launch a campaign. However, getting content to go viral is not easy.

5 tips to make a viral campaign on YouTube

Is there the perfect campaign on YouTube? What should we do to make a campaign viral? Is the idea or concept important?

YouTube has become in a few years the most visited video platform in the world. A video of a few minutes can become just a few hours in a viral plague and go around the world. With this simple gesture, companies and brands have found another way to make their products known in a more economical, direct and fun way.

What is viral marketing?

According to its definition, viral marketing is called all those marketing and advertising techniques that get an element to spread very quickly in a short time, similar to how a virus behaves and behaves, hence its name.

In a viral marketing action, the idea is everything. It is not necessary to have a strong advertising investment, but the idea is so good in itself, that uniting it to the execution, the effect is more than perfect. Many times a viral video is promoted on its own, by word of mouth or by social networks, which help to amplify the message.

Words like originality and novelty, have to be present to attract that audience that we want to talk about our video. Keep in mind that viral video usually transcends borders, so make sure your product sells well on a global basis.

The first 1000 channels on YouTubegenerate 11,300,000,000 visits per month

Click to Tweet

The main factor in an account to succeed in a Youtube video is to create powerful content that has relevance. Make your idea unique and impact, and do not forget:

1. Create videos of short duration and high quality. It does not take more than 3 minutes to impact the client. It is important that you do it in high resolution, that it looks good even in the results where it appears in miniature.

2. Put the keywords of your video in the title and description. Search engines cannot read the content of the video, so it is essential that you make it easy with a brief and accurate description of the video, using the terms of appropriate keywords.

3. Promote your video through social networks. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin and other channels can help you get more views of the video.

4. Make it easy for your readers and followers. It allows your readers to vote without problems, comment, classify and even embed the video in their sites.

5. Make video not be indifferent. A viral video has to be unique, different and something that has not been published before. The video has to evoke a reaction or emotion of some kind, either positive or negative, but it does not have to be indifferent.

Long live long content!

BuzzSumo’s Sumo-scientists have concluded that the longer content is more successful than the short one, despite mobile browsing, even though our attention is getting smaller

Perhaps it has to do with that 16 times more articles of less than 1,000 words are produced than of more than 2,000, and it is already known, differentiation is the first step to success.

Eye here may have a lot to see the in-depth articles, which make Google prioritize the long information on the short on some topics, and have not yet arrived in USA, which has evidence.

Even so, and although your posts do not have to lengthen unnecessarily. It would be great if you are going to touch a topic you propose to treat it in the greatest possible depth. You will contribute more value, you will touch more sticks, you will be able to catch more long tail traffic, and science says that Your article will be shared more. Do it for her!

That does not mean that you stop making posts of 100-word memes and crawlers. Variety is the taste, and not always worth writing long articles: sometimes the time it requires does not compensate for the benefit obtained.

Always with the images ahead

The images in the posts make the articles more shared; devastating, right?

Well, although it is quite obvious, it is always good to have the empirical confirmation that after spending half an hour writing a post an hour. And a half looking for the perfect picture (which in the end is the one you saw at 3 minutes, but you have been downloading the more than finding better images), at least the effort has served to make the content viral better. In fact, approximately twice as many are shared in Social Media as those that do not have an image.

With Social Media in mind

Social Media is the main cause of your content going viral. It is what can make your content go from a small cold to bubonic plague (to keep the viral metaphor and that).

But is your content optimized for Social Networks?

  • Add Facebook Open Graph: Directly related to the images, the display of thumbnails of Facebook (image, personalized text, etc.) automatically multiplies the virtualization capacity of said content.

Do you want to know more about the Open Graph? See the Facebook guide on the Open Graph to squeeze the possibilities of this format on your blog.

  • Add images on Twitter: Again, a discovery as surprising as it is fascinating: Twitter posts with images have more engagement.

Put feeling

We always say that content must be affectionate, but where we say, love, we could also say irrational and uncontrollable hatred: the important thing is that you put feeling and your post transmits something.

Interestingly, the three emotions that work best in the field of content virtualization are the surprise, laughter, and entertainment. That’s why our posts are always so surprisingly entertaining, that you even laugh at them sometimes.

On the other hand, the least profitable emotions to write about our sadness and anger, so try to let them write that ray of sunshine you carry, no one likes to read a bitter one.

In the end, keep in mind that people look for content that defines us, that allows us to add value to our networks and share the things that matter to us.

In the study they also discovered that some of the contents that have worked best had been the tests, those of “Discover the type of woman you are” or “How old are you going to die” that come at the end of the Cosmopolitan. It may be a bias of the American market, but I would dare to say that in Spain the phenomenon can be replicated (and that it is a niche with less competition).

Lists and infographics pattern

When we segment by type of content, the winning absolutes are the infographics and the listings.

You know, very visual content and posts like “The 475 worst places to stay locked with your mother-in-law”.

Something that in fact does surprise is that the articles of the type “How to measure better” or “What techniques do not want you to know” (that is, post that poses questions “what” and “how”) work much worse than the average.

This does not mean that we have to convert all our articles into lists and infographics, but that we order the information in a coherent way, not insubstantial text blocks. Write affordable paragraphs, catchy headlines, and use graphics resources often.

Rand Fishkin told us that use graphical resources are better than infographics, and I agree, so I am quite convinced that an article with sufficient funds and with well-structured content is shared as well as an infographics or a list.

The 10 is the magic number

According to the guide of the galactic hitchhiker, 42 is the number that hides the meaning of life, the universe and everything else. According to this study, it is 10.

Well, maybe it does not respond to so many things, but it is the number that works best when it comes to making lists. In fact, listings with 10 items were shared more than the second on the list, which was 23.

The final order of the numbers that work best to make listings would be: 10> 23> 16> 24.

Why these strange numbers? I have no idea either; the data is the data. Although they confirm to me that we live in a world in which order is an illusion and we live a step away from chaos. That and I do not understand people.

The author is important

Less on Facebook that people do not care who you are and do not respect Gods or men.

But in the other networks, the contents that have a small bio of the author are more likely to be shared.

He bets that in Facebook we share a type of entertainment content and fun, while in other networks we tend more to the professional, or at least more serious, and for this the source influences, and much.

Here it is necessary to remain with which to write in a viral nova or a similar click hole based on Facebook. It will not be essential to have a renowned author -or to have a writer to dry. However, if our content is more dangerous, or Of a professional nature. It is not only relevant that we indicate clearly who writes it and why we should pay attention to it. But also indicate the sources of the article and resources that support our conclusions.

Surround yourself with influences

Again, a news bomb: When an influencer shares articles, they share much more.

In fact that you share five influences multiplied by three the average of shares you get in Social Networks, if you share only 1, the viral still increases by 30%.

What is the use of knowing this? Well, it gives us a clue to the importance of having friends in high places and building relationships with individuals that have a greater reach than ours. It would be great if BuzzSumo gave us information to see influences by topic, but since there is not, you can pull Socialbro, which has very similar functions.

They recommend seeing how an article on the topic we want to develop has been finalized so that we try to replicate its success through the influences that put it on the road. Creating relationships with them (and other users who are not influences) is the best way to get content to go viral.

Share your content several times

We have already insisted hundreds of times that we should share our content more than once if we want it to work, but BuzzSumo gives us the reason.

We have already insisted hundreds of times that we should share our content more than once if we want it to work, but BuzzSumo gives us the reason.

We are not going to elaborate on the reasons because you have them in that post, but their conclusion is that after the low viral reach. The best way to revitalize it is to re-launch it in our channels and get third parties to share it again, including reaching people that the first article did not arrive.

A challenge, but the only secret of content marketing is the continued effort; you should already know.

Why share your content more than once?

Content has more lives than a cat: multiply it and get more traffic by republishing it on social networks. We tell you why and how to get it.

How many times do you have to republish a content in Social Networks?

The main advantage of the evergreen content is that it never goes out of fashion: republishing it in Social Networks can resuscitate it and give it a new peak of visits to an old post that has worked well.

The empirical evidence is provided by Tom Tunguz, from Redpoint, in his blog, measuring the spread of his posts regarding successive retweets. Definitely? Republican content = more visits.

Why share a content more than once in social networks

Of course, and apparently, to get more traffic to a site or blog, and it works, as we see in the previous example of Tom’s experiment.Because we are not omnipresent and the Timeline has limits and, in many cases, it is too fast and ephemeral: reach the new audience, and with it, increase the potential audience that we can achieve; and, at the same time, increase the scope of the current public.Because of an evergreen content, not being current and not subject to temporal limits, adapts correctly -and also contributes-, in (much) more than a single moment.

How to share content more than once in social networks

Varies the copy. There is not a single way to say something, not a single copy of a content, let’s try them all. It is not about publishing the link to the content in question with the same text each time, but different texts. The copy is an art that can be mastered with time and experience.

Modifies the format. Nor is there a single way to publish something: links, images with links, videos with links, came … (imagination, try and conclude). In Pinterest, for example, we can include the different models of content on different boards with a link to it in each case, etc.

Experience, experience, experience. How do we discover the formula or formulas that work best for our audience? Testing and the best way is publishing more than once the same content.

With the tweets with images vs. without them there are differences, some statistics, as pointed Buffer App after having researched and analyzed the introduction of the images on Twitter:

Image tweets get 18% more clicks.

Click to Tweet

Image tweets get 89% more favorites

Click to Tweet

And the most impressive data:

Image tweets get 150% more retweets

Click to Tweet

In no case is it about being spammers, or constantly publishing the same without any order, concert or anything at all. It’s about having a plan and fulfilling it, making sense and being balanced.

Keys for Your Content to Become Viral

What makes a content viral? It is clear that nobody has the secret formula, but what we can give you are some tips so that your content reaches more people.

Viral content has that name for one reason: it behaves in the same way as a viral process. In that process, there are one or several outbreaks, a probability of contagion, and an environment in which social networks facilitate that a single tweet may spread exponentially, becoming a global pandemic.

You just have to think about it; if the # IceBucketChallenge had been a disease instead of a meme, it would have killed a good part of the world’s population.

If we see our content as a virus, our goal would be to sweep the humans of the planet, our video, post or infographic reach the last corner of the world. How do we get our content to become viral?

Factors that make a viral content

In content virtualization we could determine three basic factors to determine the scope of our content:

Initial points: The point from which we release content. If I only retweet him, that I have five followers, it is statistically unlikely that he will receive a result. If he does, Justin Bieber will have an immediate reach of 35 million people so that it will go viral in seconds.

Medium range: Represents the number of people a user who shares a content can reach. The number of fans, followers or the corresponding metric of each channel. For example, if the content is virtualized among gurus in a sector, the average reach can be several thousand users.

Contagion Index: In this case, it would be the probability that a user who has been exposed to the content, consumes it or spreads it. They are two different metrics and calculable if we have the patience for it.

How do I apply it to my day today?

Returning to the base: do not obsess only with the content as well. It has to be; it’s evident because nobody else will share it. And although you can do content thinking that all the influencers in the world share it, in the end, it’s not a point that you have control over.

But even with an exceptional content oriented so we can hit against a wall if we start from a wrong base (an insufficient initial focus) or if the people who end up sharing the content has a very low scope.

So for your next campaign, keep in mind that the number of people with whom you initially share the content is as significant as the quality of the material or the reach of the people who share it. Always hold in mind that the user is the king and that the only way you can control is the initial exposure, so give him diffusion, not only on Twitter: StumbleUpon, Reddit, or logs, among a vast list.

In short, we think that our circle of contacts is like the oil that will make the machinery work better: In no case, it replaces the excellent content, which is essential, but once you have managed to create exceptional content, do not hesitate to throw them away.

Three examples of viral videos, how have they done it?

1. Dollar Shave Club: How to make them remember you

The case of the Dollar Shave Club brand of razor blades was a success last year with more than 9 million views. How they did it? Creating a unique, crazy and different concept, that had little to do with the real idea: “The presentation of razor blades and comment their kindness.”

It was a video that went around the world because of its way of showing that it was not about selling a dull blade, but a concept. Because it’s not needed to pay a lot for a product to be good. Regarding virality data, they swept their main competitor: Gillette.

2. Blendtec: Looking for new utilities to my product

In the form of parody and with a touch of the most original, Tom Dickson, the president of this company tests his shredders trying to shred all kinds of objects in it to show how good they are. With the campaign dubbed “Will it Blend?” Has created several videos of no more than 2 minutes long.

One of his most watched videos is the one that shows that a Blendtec can crush an iPhone in just seconds.

Both have given of themselves these videos that Tom Dickson has created his channel on YouTube where it already has almost 700,000 subscribers and a total of more than 30 million views. With the first investment of no more than $ 50 has achieved a 500% growth in sales only thanks to these helpful videos.

3. Sesame Street: Fun ways to learn

We do not only have videos for adult audiences. Children increasingly enter YouTube sooner, and taking advantage of this pull neighborhood Sesame released a catchy song with the mega-hit “Call Me Maybe” with which has achieved more than 15 million views.

Tuesdays are the best day to launch content

100 million articles are many articles to question the validity of the data, but keep in mind that if we segment by industry, by public or by country, we can obtain different results.

Our recommendation will always be the one we have always given: If you do not know which is the best day to share content in Social Networks, first measure and then do what you want, because everyone says one thing.

25 Best SEO Techniques

Better techniques to increase your SEO positioning in 2018In this article, I am going to tell you the best SEO techniques that better results and better work in 2018. I will try to describe each of these techniques in a very easy way so that it is easier to apply them and improve your SEO positioning. Each year SEO evolves, changes and becomes a complex discipline to follow and be updated with the latest updates of the algorithm, even so, and according to a study by BrightEdge, organic search is still the biggest driver of web traffic and income for practically all industries.

But before I begin, I am going to recommend you this master of advanced SEO, extremely practical and of a lot of quality, and of which I am lucky to be a professor. So if you want to be trained by the best teachers, this is your SEO master.

Now let’s see what the SEO techniques that will take off your web positioning in 2018 are.

Segmentation of your Audience

An essential aspect of any marketing strategy is to segment very well the public that we address so that they are more interested in the information, product or service that we are going to offer.

It is key to hit the user target since this affects our choice of keywords. It is about offering what the user is looking for or is demanding, and not providing to offer.

Then we should ask ourselves questions like;

What information do I have from the customer profile I want to capture? Do I have enough data to define our objective target well?

Competitive Intelligence

Businesses that are already built play a distinct advantage.

They have all the information and knowledge necessary to make decisions. Predict your next movements. Imagine how the market can evolve in the future and detect threats.

Monitoring and analyzing your competition is nothing new. Businesses have always done so and for obvious reasons:

  • It helps to make better decisions.
  • Detect new opportunities
  • It helps to predict the next movements of the competition.
  • Point out problems that can be solved quickly and other types of opportunities.

What actions should we carry out?

Step 1. Identify the Competition

Step 2. Investigate your Organic Strategies

Step 3. Analyze your Payment Advertising

Step 4. Take a look also at social media

Gaining competitive intelligence is crucial if you want to make better decisions, increase your marketing focus and detect new opportunities. With a simple process, you can quickly determine the marketing tactics of your competition and discover ways to overcome it in searches.

SEO Content

This method is one of my idols and, it is about merging the SEO techniques Strategy with the Content Strategy, to find those contents in which we want to position ourselves and in which we have to be very clear about why we choose them.

This technique does not seek as the primary objective to bring as much traffic as possible, but what it seeks is to define the niches in which we want to position our brand because we understand that these keywords are associated with the achievement of objectives that we have established in the Strategy.

Now I will explain it with an example so that it is understood much better;

Suppose I published a guide on how to design and optimize a resume to find work, and that this article was without a doubt the post that more web traffic brought to my business, then the question is, would you be right with the choice of this? Content? The answer is straightforward, and it would depend. It would depend on whether that traffic we are getting is profitable in some way, whether to get subscribers, customers, etc. Yes, we cannot convert that traffic because it is not our user target because then it would not be a wise choice of content.

Visits figures is an abstract value that should not obscure us and make us lose focus on what has value in the content strategy.

In most businesses, most of the traffic comes from 4 or 5 keywords, so the first objective of this SEO technique will be to position ourselves in them and try to reach the Top 10 of Google.

There are many tools to analyze the best keywords, but my favorites are:

My favorite tool to analyze the best keywords from other web pages similar to mine, and with all certainty the tool that has helped me the most to find the best traffic niches and with it, to increase the organic traffic of more than 400% my blog.

Keyword planner

Complete tool to conduct a thorough study of keywords. It is the most basic and at the same time the most comprehensive, and a fundamental element if we want to make a good survey of keywords.Google Trends

An essential tool to analyze the trend over time of the keywords we have selected. Not only is it about getting right keywords, but we must analyze their tendency to decide whether or not to include it in the keyword study.

Keyword Tool IO

With this very simple to use the tool you will find the most important searches from any base keyword.

Squeezing the freshness factor to the maximum

This SEO techniques factor, although it has been with us for a few years, is certainly giving a lot to talk about with the latest updates of the Google Algorithm, since we can see how posts that are well positioned in the SERP begin to fall after a few months and their place is occupied by fresher and more current contents, even from less authoritative domains.

This happens because Google is giving much importance to the factor of freshness and less stress to more traditional elements such as the authority of the domain.

What do we have to do to make the most of this factor?

You have two options:

1.- Recover old posts by adding more fresh content and updating the date.

2.- Recover old posts by adding more fresh content and eliminating the field of the date.

We will now see at these two aspects in depth:

1.- Recover old post and update date

The process is very simple, but I will explain it in 4 easy steps to follow:

1.- We eliminate the little relevant or outdated content.

2.- We add 30% or 40% more content to the post.

3.- We update Goals and titles (H1, H2, and H3).

4.- We change the date, and we give “update.”

Only with this, you can see how an old post returns to rank in a few days in the top positions of Google.

2.- Recover old posts and delete the date

1.- We eliminate the little relevant or outdated content.

2.- We add 30% or 40% more content to the post.

3.- We update Goals and titles (H1, H2, and H3).

4.- We eliminate the date of the post, and we update it.

How do we eliminate the date of a post?

There are two ways to do it:

1.- Manual method

The manual method can be applied in two ways;

1.- Hiding it from CSS

You go to your style sheet and add.

.entry-date {display: none; }

2.- Modifying the programming of your theme

Complex to apply if we are not programmer since we have to look for the file of our theme that shows the date and eliminate the function, this depending on the template can be in single.php or any other file.

2.- Automatic method (Recommended)

We install the Old Post Date plugin to remove and decide the age of the post from which we want its date to disappear. You decide 30, 60 or 90 days, I have opted for the latter, and I have opted to hide the dates if the post is more than three months.

Long Long Long Tail

I recommend you to express all the potential that Long Tail has since this SEO technique can help us to position a content in keywords, you have heard correctly, in dozens of keywords in which we can place ourselves and manage to capture web traffic.

I’ll explain it to you with a very visual example.

I’m going to SEMrush, and I’m looking for the combinations of a keyword I want to write that is “free image banks,” and the application returns a total of 34 similar keywords that generate traffic.

It is not wrong to make a post to position ourselves in more than 30 different keywords in Google.

Now we are going to do the same, but we are going to use the process in reverse, that is, we are going to analyze keywords that have many similar keywords like the one in this example, for that, I have to look at keywords that have the following characteristics:

1.- Generate different combinations according to whether the word is singular or plural.

2.- Use of words with many synonyms. Example; free, free, free, free.

3.- This is a search that is very used by users, that is, they are things that we need every day in our work, and therefore we need to look for them practically every day.

What is your record of keywords positioned with a single post?

I have to say that I have come to see a post with more than 3,000 keywords positioned and with web traffic exceeding 100,000 visits.

Optimize loading speed from mobile devices

If you think that just having a responsive design you have everything done, you are very wrong, you have to put yourself on the user’s side and really see if you would wait 7 or 8 seconds to upload your Blog from a Smartphone and a 3G connection, since you I say that nobody expects so much unless it is a super fan of your Blog.

So, plant the objective of downloading the loading speed from mobile devices within 3 seconds, here are some tips for this:

1.- The logo image must be different depending on the device. If someone connects from a computer, it is normal to show him an image of more resolution and more size, but we must show him a very different one if he connects to an iPhone.

2.- Unlock the CSS and JS for the Google robot. Typically, these files are unlocked, and Google can access them to assess that none of these items are blocking the mobile display.

3.- Appropriate images for each mobile device.

4.- Forget about Flash-type technologies or similar.

5.- Use typography and size that is readable without zooming. I recommend you use a paragraph size of 12 px.

6.- Choose a good professional theme. In ThemeForest, you can find all you want, although there are also many other companies with professional themes.

7.- Choose the best hosting.

8.- Avoid large images.

9.- Do not use pop-up windows.

10.- Simplify the design so that user navigation is much clearer and more comfortable.

11.- Avoid the use of small buttons that reduce the user experience.

Become a Google Analytics Pro

The one that says that understanding the Google Analytics tool is an easy and simple task, is very far from reality, and it is true that the SEO techniques world is getting closer to certain KPIs in marketing that we can analyze with this tool, and that we have to control at our fingertips to use in order to improve our web positioning.

Not only we are interested in analyzing this KPI, but we have to perfectly analyze the behavior of the user since it reaches our page until it leaves, all to improve our accessibility and usability, so that all our visitors find information who seek, and all in the simplest way.

It is not surprising that more and more SEO techniques experts are trained as experts in web analytics, a combination that is now a guarantee of success.

Searching broken links of authority domains

I personally is an SEO technique that I do not use but if I am aware of other colleagues in the sector that is still very and very much used, despite being an ancient strategy.

This time I will explain how we can use it with the ahrefs tool, and specifically with the “SIte Explorer”.

Free Blogs

Today there are a large number of platforms to create a free blog in a matter of a few minutes. Specifically, I’m going to focus on two platforms that are the best optimized from an SEO techniques point of view:

A compelling platform with which we can create and position a free Blog in a few months. From the point of view, SEO is a very well optimized platform, and that has an authority of 97/100.

2. Blogger

This platform is 100% adapted to the Google guidelines so it will be easier for us to position a blog or a web page. From the point of view, SEO Blogger has two great advantages over the rest of free platforms; the first is his great authority 97/100 and the second is his adaptation to Google’s rules of the game.

How to position it?

I only know a unique way to position a Blog, and it is with a lot of work, so if you are going to create a free Blog with any of these tools, and you will leave it abandoned, I already tell you that it will not do you any good to improve your web positioning, but if instead, we publish an article every week we can get in a few months a blog that brings visits and authority to our main website.

Audit your website and leave your house “well cleaned.”

This SEO technique I left at number 10 because I consider it a very important and round strategy if we want to build a strong and consistent website with which we can then get the approval of the Google search engine.

I leave here 3 very good tools to do an SEO audit, the first is a bit more complete to use, but it is also the most complete, and the other applications are easier to understand and follow their recommendations to optimize our website.

This SEO tool has been recently uploaded to the audit car, and although the analysis is much more basic than the previous ones, it can also be used to correct some of these errors.

Screaming Frog

Undoubtedly the complete tool to perform an SEO audit, but I tell you that it is not easy to use and you will have to dedicate many hours to be able to take full advantage of it.

A tool much easier to use than the previous one and with which we can do a good SEO audit. Once we have done the analysis, we can download in excel format and pdf the errors that we have to correct in each section.

Improve your landing page

No use an SEO strategy if when we take web traffic to a landing page do not convert, and with this goal I bring you 7 good advice from the hand of my friend Mamun SEO.

The power of infographics

You can think that the infographic is one more resource within your Content Strategy, or maybe you think that it is an element that does not convince you and you do not decide to use it, but I want to convince you mainly for three reasons:

1.- Increase web traffic. A year ago I started doing infographics, and my blog has gone from 4,000 to 40,000 visits in 12 months, and my referral traffic has increased by more than 2,000%.

2.- Link Natural Building. Infographics are a facilitator when it comes to getting 100% natural incoming links and in a spectacular time.

I recommend you to try Image Raider, a tool with which you can analyze in which web pages and blogs your infographic has been published.

3.- Improve your brand image. Being an element that has great social virality we can get to know our brand in a very short period, but also later I will mention how this benefit will indirectly improve our web positioning.

The social authority

The social authority is a factor that is very difficult to distort and therefore is an element that transmits and give quality to a brand.

If we have authority or influence in a certain social network, we can attract thousands of visits to our website, and logically this web traffic will be of great help for our posts to scale in the SERPs.

Also, the social authority will also not help our content reach more people, and with this, we can get other professionals to share or mention us on their websites.

Much has been talked about how social bookmarking impacts on SEO, but today we do not know for sure that they are a factor.

I agree with Jesus that directly it is very complicated to specify if they impact or not, but indirectly yes that they influence and improve our SEO positioning.

Squeeze internal links

The internal links give consistency to our content strategy and allow readers to delve into different topics, but it is also a basic SEO technique that you have to use always so that you can transmit the internal Link Juice well.

Use these internal links with common sense and as long as they add value to the content.

One aspect that there are people that overlook is to send link juice from the post to the categories so that in turn they pass it to the articles of that same category.

The brand image as a relational marketing strategy

Well for the end, I have left one of the SEO techniques that I like most, and that is to improve your brand image as a relational marketing strategy.

In other words, the first step is to work on our brand image for 6 or 12 months, and then begin to connect with other professionals through effective, real and lasting relational marketing strategies, we do not create a relationship of exchange, we really create Real and strong relationships, that over time and in a natural way will give a great boost to our SEO strategy.

Squeezing the CTR

Today we know that it is key to get our result to attract more attention to the course and thus attract. The most significant number of clicks, but if you think about it, this requires understanding and entering a part that may border. The psychological as we must understand the user’s behavior when they visualize our results in the SERP or have tools that can analyze it and give us recommendations for improvement.

Aspects that we can improve our search results:

1.- Optimize titles. We can get more impressive titles, so I recommend that you add at the end a call to action or a simple word all in capital letters.

2.- Optimize description. There are different ways to optimize the description to attract more attention of the user and thereby get more clicks;

2.1. Repeat the keyword twice. We will get our search term to match more words in our search result and thus bring both keywords in bold, something that will logically capture the user’s attention more.

2.2. Add the voting stars. It is an element that with a single glance captures more attention and gets more clicks.

2.3. Add symbols in the description. Google did not eliminate from the SERP that we can add certain symbols that can make your search result stand out more, so take advantage of it. Of course, if you put it at the beginning or end of this description Google automatically deletes the key is to place them in the center.

2.4. Add links to bookmarks. There is a wonderful WordPress plugin called Table Content Plus, with which we can improve our SEO On Page and the user experience. Of course, not install it will appear in your search results because Google needs the domain has some authority on the Internet to show it.

Something you may not know is that Google can adapt your Meta description. According to the search terms, and can even select an internal link different to a bookmark based on the search, it seems crazy but it’s true, I discovered it, and I’m using it at the top to position more quickly in keywords with the presence in different countries.

Do you realize how the internal link changes depending on the parameter of the country we have chosen? What do you think about the idea? We can use it to add internal links that improve your SEO On Page, which get more attention from the user and lead directly to the information you need or need.

Increase the number of users that similar tools to Twitter Feed

My blog is now added to 150 users who publish a tweet shortly after each article published in Blog, then I thought if I analyze at the time of publication of any blog in my sector, I could find all users who use similar tools Twitter feed and try to attract them.

How do we do it?

It is very simple;

1.- Analyze in the search engine of Twitter the page of the blog of which we want to find the users that have it added to their Twitter Feed, and find all the people who have published a tweet that includes a link to that page.

2.- Find a moment of the week where there are many followers tweets in the same minute or in a very small interval of time.

3.- You already have it, now you just have to try to attract them and know your Blog, and you will see with time and conversation, you get many professionals to do it.

This technique can be combined perfectly with the date update, because when we update a post and we put the current date we will get hundreds of tweets through these users, since for the tool it will be like a new post, so in this case the update can be doubly effective.

Traffic as a tool to improve positions

There are 3 mechanisms with which you can attract a lot of traffic and which are the following;

1.- Social traffic. You can attract a lot of traffic from social networks in a very small amount of time. I have managed to overcome the 1,000 social visits of a post in a single day.

2.- News aggregators. They can help us to increase traffic and to obtain high-quality links, as in the case of biacoras.

3.- Email Marketing. It is another channel with which we can take thousands of visits to a post in a few hours.

I have very clear that the traffic of the post is a very important factor to climb positions and improve our web positioning.

SEO Branding as the definitive technique

If from minute 0 we are working on the SEO and brand strategy simultaneously it will be very good for us, because after 12 to 18 months I will be able to see how the results obtained are amplified and improved thanks to the good work done.

SEO Branding will be the tool you need to create a Professional Blog and get the best results in a very short period of time.

You only have to analyze the growth of domains that link my blog in a completely natural way, as they have increased last year exceeding 1000 domains.

Bait Pages

The Technique of the Pages Bait is to take advantage of the visibility that some pages of our web have to get traffic from related keywords that when combined will multiply our traffic, in other words we will launch the hook with a page that points to many keywords to attract all possible visits from her.

“But Mario … do I have to create new articles?”

No, only “make up” the ones you already have to give them shape.

If you have ever been interested in web positioning (if you have not done so, you should start doing it), you will have read that there are different types of keywords and that it is best to create an article (or page) for each keyword you want to attack.

Do you know what the problem is with this?

That you can throw a lot of time creating content to achieve each and every one of them and as you go deeper into the dark road of the websites you will realize that you have so much work ahead that time will be your most valuable asset.

For this reason, with the bait pages, we are going to optimize our time and effort to try to get the most out of our content.

Strategic Contents

A strategic content can be 1000% more effective than it would be a regular content, that is why I am going to recommend that you add in your editorial calendar some strategic content such as; collaborative content, the content of the presentation in society or the content of mention.

The strategic content seeks to achieve the highest possible amplification and that your information reaches as many people as possible, being able to reach more than 1 million people without the need to invest a single euro in advertising.

These are some examples of strategic content;

Optimizing the Crawl Budget

The Crawl Budget is the tracking budget that Google allocates to each website.

A common mistake is to think that the more pages we publish on our website the more traffic we will get, and this is not true because the more pages we have the more time Google will need to track them all, which could cause a percentage of our pages to our website is not being indexed and with it we will be losing traffic and visibility in Google.

It is important to analyze what are the pages that we are interested in indexing and which are not, so that we reduce to the maximum the necessary time that the search engine needs to index our content, in this way we will increase the traffic and curiously indexing fewer pages.

Aspects that reduce our Crawl Budgwet:

  • Duplicate content.
  • Errors 4XX and 5XX.
  • Other technical errors
  • Bad browsing experience
  • Low quality content or spam.
  • Pages hackeads.

Squeezing videos on YouTube

Youtube videos have a lot of potentials we just have to see Google owns the channel. It will continue for a long time, but a common mistake is not to optimize well videos on this channel, so I recommend you make a summary of each video 200 to 300 words that will help you improve your SEO optimization On the page of it and get visibility and traffic through YouTube.

Which is what usually happens, due to laziness or not losing a lot of time we add one or two sentences, and that’s it, and this is a mistake because we are not optimizing the quality score of that video.

Friend Building

Several years ago when Google announced that incoming links from other pages that point our website or backlinks were going to lose strength gradually, but today you have to know that it is still essential to the position in Google and more especially if we talk about high competition niches.

Then starting from the base and recommendations of Google. Where he urges us to get natural links led me to the conclusion that this natural link building could also be called friend building. That is to say that it is essential to create a real relationship of friendship with other professionals of our sector because we will get many mentions of their articles and develop agreements and diverse collaborations.

If this friend building you do it with an SEO consultant it will be much better!

OTE (On page + Traffic + Experience)

One of my favorite SEO techniques is nothing more than getting a post in a few days or weeks in niches of high traffic and all without the need to get links. For this, we need to create modular content of high quality and value and where the user’s experience prevails. This content is going to optimize your SEO On Page to finally take thousands of traffic visits to get Google to send thousands of positive signals from the experience of these visits.

Do yourself the test and tell me the result!

Finally and to finish this article, I am going to give you three tips to get authority and very natural links:

1.- Become a hunting contest for Blogs and web pages. Participate in all the contests and prizes that you have at your disposal since you will get links to high authority and natural.

2.- Be creative and take the risk of new and innovative actions. Everything that sounds like a new and different breath attracts attention and also gets an excellent diffusion on other pages like yours.

3.- Create alliances with other professionals. This is the lifelong link building, and consists of creating real relationships with professionals in your sector, that as this bond of friendship is strengthened, you can also see how these professionals begin to mention you in their articles.

Market Samurai

Market Samurai is a desktop tool for Windows and Mac.For a long time, Market Samurai was my favorite tool, and I used it for everything from researching niches to monitoring the positions of my keywords. And with this tool, you can manage from the research and analysis of keywords to the creation and monetization of content, although for the latter it is more useful in English.Market Samurai was one of the first SEO tools I bought, and I still use some of its functions, especially the competition analysis module, which is still one of the best and fastest.Market Samurai is a good choice if you are starting in SEO, want to perform basic tasks, and have a tight budget.

SEO Powersuite is a set of 4 desktop tools, for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Tools for Keywords.

Building a good list of keywords is one of the essential activities of SEO positioning, and that will define to a great extent the success or failure of your efforts.

These are the tools I use to help me build a good keyword map, with possibilities to position them and get qualified visitors.

Google Keyword Planner

The Keyword Planner (Google Keyword Tool in English) has been my indispensable tool for the study of keywords, in recent years. But, due to Google’s decision not to show the volume of Keywords, this tool has become secondary in my Keyword research process. You can read more about the reasons for my decision, and other SEO tools that I recommend in my article “Alternatives to the Google Keyword Planner.”

Advantages Of the Google Keyword Planner

  • The use of the tool is free; you will only pay if you decide to advertise.
  • Available in Bangla, and for all countries and languages of Google.

Advantages Of the Google Keyword Planner

  • To use it you must have a Google Adwords account. In other words, you need to have a credit card in your name and be proved to the advertised program.
  • In most states, it is difficult to find advanced tools (long tail) that are easy to position with this tool.
  • If you are not an active advertiser of Adwords (you publish ads very often), you will see the volume of approximate searches as an interval, which does not help to analyze and choose the best keywords.

You can find details information about this tool here:

Keyword Tool

Keyword Tool is an online tool that helps you discover new keywords, getting autocomplete suggestions from various sources, such as Google, Bing or YouTube.

In its free version, you can only generate a list of keywords, but you can not get its volume, so just the paid version will be useful.I only use Keyword Tool when I search for keywords for YouTube since for everything else I prefer to pay for Kwfinder, which offers more functionality for a lower price.

  • In addition to Google, it shows suggestions for YouTube, Bing, Amazon and the App Store.
  • Allows you to search for suggestions for any language or country supported by Google.

  • You will need a Pro account (for a fee) to see the volume of keywords.
  • It is a relatively expensive tool for its functionality.

You can find details information about this tool here:

KWFinder is a fantastic online tool that helps you find keywords and analyze the difficulty of positioning your keywords. Currently Kwfinder is my preferred and recommended tool for searching and researching keywords.

  • It has a free version, with limited queries, which works exactly like the paid version.
  • Allows you to search for suggestions for any language or country supported by Google.
  • You can organize and manage your keywords in lists within the application.
  • Provides suggestions using Google’s autocomplete, and questions that users ask the search engine.
  • Gives information about the relative difficulty of positioning a keyword.
  • It allows you to filter your list of keywords using several very useful parameters such as some searches, difficulty, length of the key phrase, etc.

  • It only provides suggestions for Google, not for Bing, YouTube, etc.

You can find details information about this tool here:

SEO Hero

SEO Hero is a free tool that helps you create better semantic content. Discover new keywords, and understand why certain topics position pages.

It’s a really interesting tool, and it’s the one I’m using together with Kwfinder, for keyword research right now.

  • It’s free.
  • It helps you find thematic keywords, which is increasingly important to position organically.
  • It helps you discover LSI (or “long tail”) keywords that you may have overlooked with other tools.
  • You can see (and understand) how your competitors are using these words on their pages.

  • t is still in beta, and some features do not work correctly.

You can find details information about this tool here:

SERMrush is an excellent tool to “spy” the SEM strategy (payment positioning) of your competition.

If you dedicate yourself to Online Marketing, or if you use Adwords, you will discover that Semrush is an almost essential ally.

But it is also very useful for keyword research, because it gives you information about the Keywords that are positioning your competitors, and gives you suggestions about new ones.

SEMrush has been evolving towards an “all-in-one” tool, but this has caused it to be more expensive than other tools. If you can only pay for a tool, it is a good option, but if you can afford it, you will get more complete information about rankings, keywords, or backlinks with more specialized SEO tools.

  • Its database covers more than A Hundred countries!
  • It enables you to know the Keywords for which you are located in the organic searches (and surely some of them you did not know) … and the best: it allows you to understand what Keywords is placing your competition.
  • It is an excellent tool to know the ad policy of your competition, what keywords they use, what are their most effective ads and the approximate cost to advertise.
  • It helps you discover new keywords related to your topic, and “steal” those that your competition is not positioning correctly.
  • It allows you to know the expected organic (also paid) traffic of a website, very valuable information to decide if it is worth associating in any way with it (get links, write as a guest, etc.), control the evolution of a competitor, or have more data for a consultation session.
  • And it also allows you to control the ranking of your Keywords.

  • It is not the cheapest tool on the market, but there are not many that offer so many functions.

You can find details information about this tool here:

Load speed

The loading speed of your pages is essential twice: as a positioning factor and because your visitors will return more times if your page loads fast. Nobody likes to wait, and many visitors leave a slow web before it finishes loading.

These tools will help you analyze the speed of your page, discover that it slows it down and solve this problem.

GTmetrix analyzes the loading speed and offers a detailed report that you can download in PDF, and that is very useful to optimize your pages.

The free version is more than enough for the average user. You will only need the PRO version if you need to monitor more than five pages or save more than 20 reports.

  • It has a WordPress plugin that controls the speed of your website, sends alerts and creates automatic reports.
  • You can download the reports in PDF.

  • The paid version introduces free updates for six months. From that moment you have to subscribe a monthly update plan, about $ 9 per application per month.

You can find details information about this tool here:

Web Page Test

Web page test is my favorite tool for load speed analysis, among other reasons because it is the one that offers more locations to check the loading speed.

  • The reports are so complete and detailed, which makes it suitable for advanced and even professional use.
  • It allows simulating the load from the majority of web browsers (according to location), mobile devices, the speed of the connection and other advanced parameters.
  • You can visually compare different URLs, very useful for A / B tests.

  • The paid version adds free updates for six months. From that moment you have to subscribe a monthly update plan, about $ 9 per application per month.

Traffic Analysis and Conversion (Analytics)

To get the best performance you need to get data about your visitors, know where they come from, how they interact with your website, what content attracts them most, etc.

With this information, it will be much easier to optimize your website and make it as useful as possible to your visitors, which will help you in the positioning and conversions.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is probably the most used tool to measure and analyze traffic and the conversion of visitors on the Internet.

Although there are other options, its integration with the other tools offered by Google and the fact that it is free, make it mandatory to know it.

  • Completely free
  • Available in Bangladesh

  • It is not an intuitive tool and understanding it, and taking advantage of it takes a long time.

You can find details information about this tool here:

There are times when you may prefer not to use Google Analytics on your website because you are fed up with Google’s monopoly, so as not to “leave traces” that can identify you, etc.

Metrica is a free tool developed by Yandex, which competes directly with Google Analytics and even exceeds it in some aspects.

It is simple to use and very powerful, with unique features.

If you have never tried anything other than Google Analytics, you should try Metrica in one of your next projects, and you will be pleasantly surprised.

  • You can use Metrika at the same time as Google Analytics without problems.
  • It offers “heatmaps” (heat maps) that show where your visitors click.
  • It also shows how far your visitors “scroll.”

  • There is very little documentation to help you configure and use this tool.
  • Only available in English and Russian.

Analysis of Backlinks and Competition

The analysis of the profile of the links is very important, to be sure that you don’t command the risk of being penalized. And also to know what your competition is doing, and to be able to adapt your strategy.

A few years ago there were no reliable tools to carry out an in-depth study of the links of a website, fortunately, we now have very powerful options.

Like most best SEO tools of this type, Ahrefs is an online application, which offers detailed information about the external links of one or several pages and allows you to analyze your profile or compare it with others.

It offers very detailed statistics, but as is standard with this type of tool, you can only take advantage of its full potential with one of your monthly plans.

Although I usually use Majestic for the tasks related to the profile of links, lately this tool is more and more useful for me, so I keep having a paid subscription of ahrefs.

  • Allows you to compare a maximum of 5 URLs at a time.
  • Displays information on Social Signals allows you to export the data in CSV format (up to a maximum of 10,000).
  • His index is updated very often, and it is together with Majestic, one of the largest.

  • It does not have a classification system (“authority,” “force,” etc.) as robust as Open Site Explorer or Majestic.
  • It does not offer a free version.

You can find details information about this tool here:

SEO SpyGlass

SEO SpyGlass is an application for Windows, Mac and Linux, part of SEO Powersuite.

SEO SpyGlass is especially useful when I use it in conjunction with Majestic or Ahrefs, to create reports, evaluate the strength of a link profile, or the risk of penalty, among other things.

  • It allows you to perform an exhaustive analysis of your Backlinks, or those of your competition, organize them, create statistics, detailed reports in multiple languages, etc.
  • It is continuously updated to adapt to the frequent changes introduced by search engines, especially Google.
  • You can find links in more than 160 local and international search engines, and analyze factors such as Keywords, PageRank, Alexa Rank, Anchor text, Social Signals and much more.
  • A single license allows you to run the application on several computers in a non-simultaneous way, for example, if you have a laptop and desktop computer.

  • From the sixth month, you have to pay for the updates.
  • Obtaining links, unlike “online” tools such as Ahrefs or Majestic, is not instantaneous and can take a long time to collect them.

You can find details information about this tool here:

Majestic has great power within an interface that, unfortunately, is somewhat confusing and unattractive, which sometimes causes rejection before understanding its great virtues.

It is my preferred tool to analyze the quality and subject of a link profile.

  • Its database, along with that of ahrefs, is one of the largest and fastest to be updated.
  • It allows recovering the history of links that have already been eliminated from the index, something unique in this type of tools.
  • It offers its metrics (Citation Flow and Trust Flow) that are very useful when judging a link profile.
  • The payment plans give you access to Topical Trust Flow, a proprietary metric of Majestic that classifies all pages and links in its index by subject.

  • Interface less “attractive” ahrefs and that other similar tools.

Technical SEO and web analysis

It is essential that you make sure that all the pages of your website enjoy “good health,” that they do not have errors and that their contents are as optimized as possible.

These tools will help you diagnose your website and keep it in good condition.

Google Search Console

Google Search Console is a free service allowed by Google to help Webmasters analyze and optimize their websites.

It is an indispensable tool to keep your website in good health, optimize it and detect possible problems.

  • Check the indexing status of your website.
  • It helps you optimize the visibility of the results.

It is one of the best and most complete SEO tools.

As key points, you have that the keywords do not have to put them by hand. Create directly the list of words by which you appear on Google and the position. No doubt this saves a lot of time and effort (So does Xovi and SEMRush).

The design is very good, the analysis of competition and keyword opportunities are also excellent with the function of “Keywords not used” that is used to identify keywords where your domain is not positioned within the first 100 search results, but that is already being used by the competition. This function also has SEMrush offering much more data. The evolution in the ranking of your keywords is very successful. Similar to AuthorityLabs that specializes in this evolution. You can check the changes in the visibility index of your website during the most known Google updates. They also have some Webinar about Penguin and the visibility index of SISTRIX.

You can find more information about this tool here:

A complete tool. It is the least known tool of all, but it fulfills very well what it offers. It declared that it has the most functionality.

The most remarkable thing is the “Link Disinfection” function to get rid of all the links that link us and that Google considers them SPAM. It is very important to recover from a penzalization of Panda. It also allows you to create the disavow file to send to Google as a last resort.Robots.txt, sitemap, the most powerful backlink tool (if you compare with other tools SEOProfiler detects more link from its Link Profiler section) and a complete SEO audit are other of the great features it offers.

Also, the integration with your social networks to track your reputation will greatly speed up access to Twitter and Facebook.

Something negative is that it does not have a previous history of the keywords and therefore the evolution of the ranking starts. When you enter the keywords but it was solved with the option of Ranking Profiler where we can see the keywords with which we currently go on Google (we can see also those of the competition) and add them to our history with a click. Besides, like Sistrix, it shows a general visibility index to have an evolutionary view of all the keywords and track our SEO work.Like SEMrush they allow the optimization of SEM campaigns with the competence analysis.

An incredible best grammar tool I ever seen. This new app, Grammarly, promises to improve the way it is written in English significantly.

There are those who write texts in English, some formal and others less. These can be essays, theses or why not, simple emails. If there is a need to write correctly, we have tools already in word processors, but now a new option called Grammarly comes out, which goes beyond the traditional correction. Let’s see.

On the one hand, this new corrector helps to avoid errors in applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, LinkedIn, among others and practically for all the apps that run on the web. The system scans the text to find standard errors, or even grammatically complex, which speaks of it is somehow a smarter correction. But also, he can explain in detail the errors found in the texts, which eventually helps to improve the way of expressing himself in writing in English.

The system can be installed in Chrome (and it’s free). According to the official website, Grammarly already has about 8 million users. However, there are other products of the company, such as Grammarly for MS Office, Grammarly Premium, Grammarly Native Apps and a document plagiarism verifier. The Premium option has a cost and is capable of verifying critical grammar problems as well as difficulties with finger errors, misspelled words, and so on. Also, there is an advanced verifier for punctuation, grammar, context and structure of sentences. Grammarly Premium can make suggestions on how to write some words. As regards articles or plagiarized documents, the system can check 8 billion web pages.

But like everything in this life, there is a cost. Grammarly does not sell the app but uses the subscription business model, similar to what Adobe now uses with its graphics suite. The expenses are 29.95 dollars per month, or 19.98 every three months (a single payment per quarter of 59.95 dollars) or annual, which equals 11.66 dollars per month (which made in a single amount of 139.95 dollars). This, of course, is for users who purchase the Premium package nothing more.

Of course, this product is for those who write in English frequently and need more than a traditional spell checker. Unfortunately for the moment, says the official website, the system only works in English, but evidently if the idea prospers and becomes a good business, it is likely that little by little we will see other languages incorporated into this scheme.

Surprisingly, Grammarly’s work, which has to do with artificial intelligence, because finally there are ambiguities in the languages and sometimes it is essential to understand contexts to know what is being written. It gives the impression that this software can be a firm step to have much better spell-checkers, as well as tools dedicated to improving the way we express ourselves. We’ll see how this system develops, but for the moment it sounds very promising.

(What Is Hosting) ?

(Dedicated Hosting):

  • Intel Xeon E3-1270 v5 4 Cores @ 3.4 Ghz : 4
  • 1 TB SATA Backup Drive :
  • WHM, cPanel

(Cloud Hosting):

(VPS Hosting):
